Something has changed I’ve been going there for years absolutely love it still do even after I went yesterday but the recipe had changed and my sausage was crumbly never had that experience before I am please get some beef stick ends. I travel an hour and a half for them I get there and there was none.

I urge everyone to steer clear of Ohl Style Beef Jerky! My experience was an absolute nightmare. I purchased their beef jerky and ended up with food poisoning. The odor was revolting, reminiscent of a foul and unsanitary environment. Even my grandmother, who bought it for me, was appalled by the putrid stench resembling that of a decaying carcass.To make matters worse, on a subsequent visit, the place was infested with flies and cockroaches. It's evident that the owner is attempting to offload this company to avoid impending legal action. This establishment is a hazard, and I implore you to avoid it at all costs.

This place is pretty old but the baked potatoes and turkey legs I loveParking: It's right in the middle of the city limits and right on side and behind another business so that's why it's difficult to park
That's grandma-made potato salad perfect, and I've been disappointed all across Texas, so I know what's good. The best pecan smoked brisket sauce pickles and bread-sandwich and I've had way too many everywhere. Of course pecan is my favorite smoke so I am partial that way. For comparison I also prefer Big Bibs in SA and Coopers Old time, above any 5 star places!

There is no other beef jerky than Ohl’s! I fell in love with it back in high school and love it still…so much so that we order and have it delivered to us here in Florida! Wish we lived closer so we could make a trip out and grab a brisket baked potato too!

I come here for the beef jerky, which is some of the best beef jerky you'll ever have. Don't come here for the food, I was quite disappointed with the brisket. It didn't have a smoke flavor and it was tough. The sausage is very good too but it's raw sausage to take home and cook. I've eaten Ohl's jerky since I was a child and I absolutely love it.

Just placed an order of variety items… HORRIBLE!! I have never had sausage that had a nasty rice consistency and tasted gross. WORST BBQ I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME

This was a while back when I was pregnant but I was craving a good bbq sandwich and my bf took me here and we ordered. Not surprised about the customer service that was given to us because it’s Needville. The guy in the back staring down my bf instead of doing his job. And my bf being the only black guy in the room and there was a few white guys in there waiting, makes me believe he was racist. Also the food wasn’t even good I couldn’t eat it. We decided to drive to Wharton to a way better spot and got the best customer service there. We shouldn’t have paid we should’ve just left as soon as he started giving my bf dirty looks. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he spit in our food.
