My rice has been hard and undercooked feeling the last three times I’ve been here, I used to love this location but recently it’s gotten poor, I will genuinely walk out and not pay if they give me another little scoop of protein

Employee gave attitude as soon as we walked in and got mad because I was trying to figure out what I wanted.. if you aren’t happy at your job find a new one.

Don’t expect good service when you come here the people are rude. You’ll have to repeat your order multiple times because they really don’t care to listen to you and with all the screaming going on the background I’m not sure how the love be able to fill an order without being able to hear customers. It’s a shame how far fall in this restaurant has gone with standards.
Chipotle is a place to eat.

1 star only for service. I normally have sub-par service at this location but today actually was worse than it normally is. Woman who was serving today at 12/8 at 3:15pm could do away with the eye rolls especially when the couple in front of me and myself were making very easy orders. Could have been a bad day but it doesn’t warrant for the attitude to carry on to other customers that didn’t do anything wrong.

Only reason I go to this location is because its the only one in New Braunfels. Service is terrible and because service=food quality here, the food is bad too.
Went in 12/6/2025 before the lunch rush. Young lady taking orders was talking with another worker while I was just standing there waiting. Bad attitude from the start, clearly wants me gone so she can continue chatting with her coworker. Didn't heat the tortillas enough even though no one was behind me so no rush. Then rushes me to tell her every ingredient I want from the start instead of as we go down the line. I.e , she demands to know salsa sour cream meat etc. All at the same time. Rushing me basically for no reason. I know that she is going to forget what I tell her etc. I oblige and tell her what I want and I mention *little*
sour cream and lo And behold she puts a ton, completely ruining the meal because she didn't remember when she forced me to tell her everything I wanted from tbe story that I said *little* sour cream. I said please and thank you and I was not rude to her but she couldn't care less.
This location sucks and im done giving them extra chances. Spend your money at any number of the non chain mexican joints in town...this place is a soulless franchise that can't keep employees longer than a month.

Today I ordered guac and chips with a bowl. A dead slug was found in my guac … a complaint has already been filed but I DO NEED TO SHARE and WILL NOT be returning .

The food is sub-par at this location. The guac has never been good and the chicken, steak and beans are always too spicy. They continuously mess up our pick up order so my family and I are done coming to this location. It’s a shame :/

At first everything was going good, until one lady who finished my order clearly wasn’t listening to us, we had said guacamole twice and she added lettuce and then the guacamole on top of the lettuce, we didn’t want lettuce at all. And when I mentioned it she had an attitude and said “I always repeat and ask to make sure” and I responded “yes, we said guacamole and you reached to the lettuce added it when we clearly said guacamole twice” she was upset because she has to remake the food but maybe if she just listened attentively to the customers it wouldn’t happened, she was taking orders but focused elsewhere. The first guy who had started my order was also not listening to me he ask what rice I responded which one I wanted but he had turned away and when he turned back he asked again when I had already said what I wanted.

This isn’t necessarily a reflection of this particular store, but overall, Chipotle has been receiving increasingly negative reviews. Your stock performance reflects that downward trend. The current “Subway-style” service model doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Many employees behind the counter appear disengaged and tend to serve minimal portions, making it uncomfortable for customers to ask for what feels like a fair quantity for the price. Half a scoop of beans or just a few vegetable strips doesn’t justify the cost. While the model assumes customers will ask for more, many simply won’t and they likely won’t return either. Chipotle has become a victim of expectations that don’t align with its current pricing.
Portion and quality was not worth the price. No wonder the stock prices crashed

Do NOT go here. Literally the worst chipotle I’ve ever been to both service & quality wise. The portions are a joke and the woman helping me was seriously one of the most off putting people I’ve ever met. Not only was she just blatantly rude, she was screaming the entire time and literally threw my bowl at the young worker checking us out. It was so bad we all just stood there in shock. Again, don’t waste your time or energy going here.

Portions are horrible. I get the same thing every time. I don’t expect huge portions, but I also expect not to eat all the rice in under 5 bites.
