$ Just had the #12 Chile ques & a couple different breakfast tacos. This place is authentic like eating at your aunts house and all your cousins coming through... You can tell there were lots of regulars?....so good!

I wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast tacos..especially the chicharon & eggs. Not what am use to the way they made it (All Carnitas) no chicharon. Very disappointed in my order this morning, had to go back for a refund and still was charged for a half eating taco that I was not happy with. Was charged for 4 tacos $14.66 went to Monterey's down the road, ordered the same thing was only charged $8.49. Will my tell my friend's and family about my experience!

This is the absolute nastiest place in New Braunfels. It smells like sewer as soon as you walk inside. The ceiling was leaking water from the AC duct directly onto the tables. The linoleum on the floors is ripped up causing a hazard as you walk on the already unbalanced floor. We ordered the Menudo and it was disgusting it left an after taste of dirty water. We sent it right back and explained why and the owner was very rude to us. The owner definitely has no customer service skills and I would not recommend anyone going to this Resteraunt it is definitely not a good reflection of the good eateries we have here in New Braunfels.

This restaurant has been in NB for 11 years, however this is our first visit. I had the caldo de rez and my wife had the cheese enchiladas with gravy. My caldo was very tasty, the meat was tender and the cabbage was very good. I was however disappointed in the portion. In our culture, when I want a caldo, I messing around. I expect a large bowl with plenty of veggies and meat and a good portion of rice. This was equivalent to a small portion and they served the rice in a 1oz container. Orale! They did the same with the hot sauce for chips. They are very portion controlled, but the prices should provide for a Texas size meal. I know all this sounds indulgent but when I go out, I seek flavor and value. They hit on half that. My wife enjoyed the enchiladas and would have them again. The service was excellent and the owner was a very nice and grateful for our visit. We'll be back because I want to try their chicken mole.

I am a New Braunfels native and this one of our families favorite breakfast spot. This is the Huevos a la Mexicana plate and I added bacon to the order. The Huevos Ranchero, Machacado, Barbacoa and Tripas(done soft or crispy) are all good. Their green salsa is delicious and their tortillas are homemade.
