Butcher Boy Taco House is a small restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and good service. The tortillas and huevos rancheros are highlights of the menu, and the menudo is also highly recommended. However, the Carne Guisada meat can be tough and the Barbacoa filling may taste older, depending on the day. The fajitas have been known to be overcooked. Prices are reasonable and there is a good selection of dishes to choose from. Parking can be a challenge, as the lot is small and often fills up quickly, especially during lunchtime and busy weekend mornings. Despite the limited parking, the restaurant has plenty of seating for its size. The chips and garlicky sauce are a tasty complement to any meal.
