Fork and Spoon is a charming restaurant known for its delicious food and friendly service. While some items may be a bit pricey, the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere make it worth the visit. The chicken fried steak is a standout dish, highly praised by customers. The crepes are also highly recommended, often described as delicious and decadent. Their French toast is famous for its mouthwatering pecan butter topping and is a must-try. The restaurant is appreciated for its consistent quality and quick service, even during busy times, with food arriving promptly and cooked perfectly. Customers have shared that eggs are cooked just right and drinks are served quickly. The staff, especially the owner, is attentive and caring, often going above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and safe. Recent visitors also praised the wholesome comfort food, noting that it is their go-to spot for brunch when in New Braunfels, despite potential long waits. Some enjoyed dishes like Jägerschnitzel with red cabbage, Spätzle, potato salad, and fries, highlighting the flavorful, homemade taste of the red cabbage and the large portions of schnitzel. Others appreciated the salad, veggie cream soup, and pancakes, though some found the turkey and avocado sandwich a bit disappointing. Overall, Fork and Spoon offers a great experience with true Southern hospitality, making it a favorite spot in New Braunfels.
