Guadalajara Bar & Grill

By far the worst experience waited 1 hour for Marisol/Mirna to simply take our order and was very rude didn’t introduce herself nor was polite. The owner was there and didn’t care about fixing the situation. He’s the owner of all other Guadalajara restaurants & they seems to hire unprofessional staff. Don’t go if you’re wanting a joyful experience.

Went on memorial day and could tell waitress didn't want to be there. I ordered a taco salad and the shell was almost burnt, fajita meat was full of gristle, rice had zero flavor. Such a low level experience.

I was craving mini tacos so we decided on this place for dinner. I must say I’m extremely disappointed. We ordered green enchiladas (chicken) the beans were off and my husband said it tasted like play doh…. the rice was dry as well. we got an appetizer order of the quesabirria and those were delish! But when it came to my order of mini tacos (2 pastor, 2asada) I was let down. The asada tasted like wet rags, i didn’t even finish them. The pastor was okay, I’ve had it before so I had high hopes but was let down this time. The salsa we got was the creamy green one and the spicy red. The creamy green salsa looked almost spoiled to the point where it was clumpy and separating. Very disappointing meal overall. Not to mention they forget to tell you they charge a fee for using a debit card! I’ve visited this place a few times and it’s normally half decent! Not sure why everything we got tonight sucked.

Best breakfast taco in town. This has become my Friday treat. I get the chorizo and egg. I believe the tortillas are heated on the flat top so the are piping hot and have great flavor and consistency. The girl that works the drive thru window in the mornings is always very friendly.

We unexpectedly ended up here on a Saturday and cannot wait to go back! The live music was amazing, the service was great, and the food was authentic. We tried their house margaritas, margarita flight, asada tacos, chips + queso, and tres leches. No complaints, I’ve never tasted a taco so good! Everything was authentic and delicious.

I ordered the bistek taquitos, and they were okay. We also wanted drinks from the bar, but that was not an option during our visit because they had no bartender. All they could offer was a frozen drink or beer. I'm not sure if we would go back.

My family and I stopped here while vacationing in New Braunfels. My son had burnt chicken tenders, so I sent them back, and they came back burnt again. My husband and I had fajitas that were supposed to be beef, chicken, and shrimp, but we only found 1 shrimp. The waitress acted like we were inconveniencing her by even being there. She never brought any drink refills and it took us 15 minutes to get our ticket just so we could get the hell out of there. Needless to say I don’t recommend it.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. Good family place, and I'm certain great for a workday lunch. Sorry, I ate the steak fajita before a picture. The beef taco salad had the same delicious sliced steak as the steak fajita. I was in steak heaven.

The food was delicious and our service was incredible. We sat outside and our waiter checked on us repeatedly and brought us everything we asked for. The salsa and charro beans were excellent.

We ate here twice during a vacation.
The food was excellent. On a Fridau night we enjoyed live music with a Mexican singer.
