Yesterday was not my first time at Las fontanas but I had to write a review after our experience.I moved from NB 2 years ago but as I visited friends we chose to go back for a small birthday lunch after mass.My friends husband placed an order for an alcoholic drink and Mentone that he was taking it to celebrate his wife's bother and that was the only clue the server caught and brought the team out to sing and offer a free dessert that we all shared at the table.I feel so bad I forgot his name because he was fantastic!!! Took it orders without notes and got them all right - that always impresses meNote: the salsa is served warm and that was the first place I had that and love it!!!!!!They used to have live music on Saturday not sure if it's still a thing but a place il for sure recommend to all who want authentic Mexican food cooked and served with love and care.We also realized that the current manager used to work at a different restaurant amd was in some of the lady's birthday lunch ?Thank you all and stay blessed.

My husband and I went here to have dinner. We waited at the front for someone to seat us for about five minutes before we decided to walk over to the bar and wait another five minutes before somebody even walked up to us. Then I ordered a margarita. It took another 5-10 min to get it. Then was so horrible. At that point I wanted to just pay and leave. When she came back she asked how it was and I told her it wasn’t good. I tried to pay for it, and she threw my card back at me…. I don’t usually write reviews let alone one star reviews, but this is the worst service I have received…. Ever!!!! So unfortunate, saying that the restaurant is about five minutes from my apartment… Will never go going back!!!

Service and food is usually good at this location but terrible experience today. We sat for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement. I stopped someone and asked who our server was and it still took another 5 minutes to get a server. Our server, Spencer, was attentive to other tables but barely acknowledged us. The manager remained at the back of the restaurant and never checked on any tables. There was one large party in the restaurant, otherwise it was much less busy than normal and there was plenty of wait staff working.

Fun place for families and casual nights out! Try the stuffed avocado plate - it is fantastic! Great location, sometimes there has been a wait and right across from the front door is a play area /green space + the Silos at Freiheit! Grab a drink there while you wait and enjoy some of the live music. Great food & fun atmosphere.

This place has been going downhill since they first opened. They were really good for the first year or two they were in business. The last three times we’ve gone the food has been horrible. Seafood enchiladas had like one piece of crawfish and now my fajitas FOR 2 only came with onions…where do fajitas only come with onions??????? Also how is this plate shareable? Drinks and bartenders are great tho! Step up that menu yall.

Sat at the bar for brunch. Swamp gas was pretty strong, just a real funky smell coming from behind the bar. Service was ok. I had to ask for a lime several times for each beer I ordered. Dos XX just isn't the same without limes. The street tacos were fantastic. I'll be back to try out the experience again.
