Update: Yes, you asked if i wanted to tip, i said yes, and you changed the tip amount and threw the receipt away. and were very rude about it. You explaining what takes place doesnât negate what was done. Hopefully you donât do that to someone who donât got it.
food was decent, however the service from the counter was lackluster as well as the fact that she asked if i wanted to leave a tip for my pickup order and proceeded to leave herself more of a tip than i stated and then threw the receipt away in front of me to not show me the receipt. will never come here again.

This is an old school New Braunfels staple. They're famous for their chile relleno but most everything is wonderful. Horchata is real and not a mix from a bag.
I asked for bacon potatoes and eggs and cheese tacos 2 days in a row I made it all the way to work 2 days in row and my taco has no bacon 2 days in row no bacon on my taco come on guys then I go back they want to give me 1 slice of bacon instead of remaking my taco smh.

My wife and I stopped in early morning after work to try some breakfast and I have to say it was the best I've had in a whike..I had pork chops with eggs and my with had the monterrey special..the food was very hot and fresh and the Chops were seasoned to perfection...we took it to go but at the last of the plate I realized I didnt want it to end, I wanted more but fortunately it was a big plate so I was filled up ..very good food I will definatly recommend for breakfast A+

Monterrey CafĂ© is truly a prime âhole-in-the-wallâ gem! My family and I stumbled upon it while driving down the highway after finding it online, and Iâm so glad we did. The food was excellentâfresh, flavorful, and made with love you can taste in every bite. The service was just as impressive, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Sometimes the best places arenât the big flashy restaurants, but the hidden spots like this that make you feel at home. Definitely worth the stop!
