I placed a doordash order and the cheesecake looked nothing like the picture nor did it taste very good.. I got regular flan instead of chocoflan like I had ordered. Very disappointed, as this was a huge pregnancy craving lol ): empanadas were okay though

I don't know who's leaving these 5 star reviews. I purchased a variety of pan dulce from this place AND I paid for the box to put them in. Every piece was dry & crumbly. Conchas are not supposed to be dry. Peanut butter cookies were bad. Chocolate cookies were awful. The pink cakes were just disappointing. All of it was disappointing. If NB thinks this is good Mexican sweet bread this is sad.

I was in Heaven the second I stepped foot inside the New Braunfels Bakery & Cake! It reminded me so much of the bakery back in my hometown. Their sweet bread (pan dulce) is delicious & goes great with coffee (cafecito). The young man, Gerardo A., and his mom were very polite. The environment was very clean and simple. You get to select the sweet bread you want and they had so many options to choose from! I couldn't help myself and got a piece of everything! I definitely recommend stopping by and everything is fresh and homemade! May God Bless this bakery!!!
The pastries were excellent but the German chocolate cake was dry & tasted ordinary. It used to be exceptionally special compared to store bought.

We bought about 7 things here to try, and none were outstanding. The staff member helping us was patient as our family of 5 picked out treats from a very large selection. Everything looked delicious, but we have had better. It was good but not outstanding.

Omg! My wish came true! A place in Texas that sell Bolillos with jalapeño and cream cheese! Don’t knock it until you try it! I first tried these back home in Los Angeles and whenever I go home I stop at my favorite panaderia for my fix! Well now I don’t have to wait until I go bk home. Now I have a place here in New Braunfels that make them just as delicious! Also when you walk in the delicious smell is to die for! That’s when you know your in a great panaderia ♥️Customer service was excellent and the young man was very attentive. You got yourself a new life long customer!Thank you
