Taqueria El Sazon Tapatio offers delicious tacos and menudo, with a special mention for the tacos pastor. The cheese enchiladas might not be a hit, but the dessert empanadas are a must-try. The staff is friendly, and regulars recommend the al pastor mini street tacos. The small restaurant can get busy, so takeout is a good option. While parking is limited, this spot is considered the best taqueria in New Braunfels. Customers praise the quick and friendly service, and the clean restrooms add to the positive experience. The breakfast tacos, especially with salsa verde, are highly recommended, and the tortas with French fries are popular among families. The carne guisada and fajitas are also favorites, and many find the menudo to be on point. Despite its small size, many say it’s one of the best Mexican places in town.
