We were there with LP, a previous reviewer and we all thought her dress was nice. Jen the owner/bartender may have a dry sense of humor but she wants people to have a good time. She has never been demeaning or rude in any way. I’m sorry they felt that way, but this place is nice.

If you’re looking to be ostracized and embarrassed, this is your spot. We stopped by on a first time visit, and immediately upon walking in the door the bartender made a comment on my “preppy dress”…my husband went on to ask for a chilled glass, that turned out to be hysterical to the bartender and she recruited the public to laugh at him because “the bottle is already cold”. ..as pissed as we were, we decided to stay and observe…no shot this place is in business 12 months from now

Jen has been the kindest bartender that I’ve met in NB. Always prompt service, and amazing company! Favorite place to stop in and grab a beer after work, especially since they stock my favorite!!! Much love to the owners, awesome little spot they have here!!!

New to this area! Loved it so much the first night we went back the second night!!! Owner remembered our names and that we were celebrating an anniversary and treated us to some fancy bubbles! Our favorite spot in the Gruene area and we will be back anytime we come here!

If I could leave 0 stars I could . We walked in and got a dirty look from the bartender then left us for a while before greeting us. Then rolled her eyes when I asked for a food menu and refused to look at us as she said they don’t have soup and walked away before even finishing her sentence. Will not be back.
What a beautiful location. Support interesting, with a lot of character. A must visit!

This place is everything I like! Very personable owners, Bobby and Jen treat you like youre the only person in the room; Very attentive. The drinks were great and the meal top notch! The outside patio was amazing!! In my opinion they nailed the bar experience for me. I love new braunfels and and Guene. I have been to every spot in town but none made me feel as comfortable as I did here. Definitely my new hangout when I come to town. Thank you Bobby and Jen for an awesome experience!!

We wandered in at 5 on Sunday for a meal. The bartender ignored us. Only one table occupied. Finally woman came one and asked what we wanted. Asked for venue. Received small drink menue. Asked if they had beer and food. She said yes dropped copied hand written paper on table. No conversation at all. We left.
