Pat's Place Reviews
After my last visit that was not the best, the owner Heather was apologetic and so gracious to ask me to give them another try. Glad I did! Today I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with Tater Tots and it was very good! The Burger was delicious, Tater Tots had some seasoning on them that made them extra flavorful, and the Sweet Tea is always Awesome there. Will definitely be back!!
Yesterday, we decided to take the drive to Pats for brunch. I am so glad we did. WE LOVED the Chicken Fried Steak. This was a welcome change from the old owners steak. It was perfectly breaded, cooked and seasoned. Also, the new inside decor and spruce up they did, is amazing! I cannot wait to go back.
We moved here in 1983. Pat’s was one of the first places we tried. It was awesome and we became regulars. Several years ago we noticed the quality was lacking and did not go back. Recently we decided to give Pats another try and boy are we glad we did. We have been several times now and each time the food has been amazing. Some of the best steak fingers in town. And the gravy?? Awesome!!! The salads are fresh and crisp. The salad dressings are perfect. We are going there again...read full review

Pat's Place is a lively restaurant and bar located by the river, known for its tasty food, especially the chips and guacamole. It is a family-friendly spot where service is fast and attentive. The young manager shows potential for great management, and servers handle multiple tables efficiently. A standout server, "Angel," provides excellent service, and another server, Nicole, has also been recognized for her positive attitude and attentiveness. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, making it a favorite in New Braunfels. Customers enjoy delicious appetizers like fried pickles and tortilla chips with hot salsa, which many find special and not heavy. Main dishes such as Chicken Fried Steak and enchiladas are highly praised, with some saying they are the best they’ve ever had. The restaurant can get busy during peak times, especially around lunch, but ample parking is available. Visitors also recommend the burgers, which look tempting. Overall, it offers a delightful dining experience with cool decor and a friendly vibe. Guests often enjoy the rich, delicious food, generous portions, and homemade key lime pie, making it a great place to relax and enjoy good company.
