Everything we’ve had is stellar. We go here any time we want a burger. They’re made from ribeye and cooked to perfection (very high success rate on rare/medium-rare). We go enough to have a lot of data points :) If you can make it between 3-6pm they have $5 off burgers and some appetizers.

Duck poppers, artichoke dip, parmesan garlic potatoes - all delicious. I’m sure the other entrees are too but I can’t go and not get a burger.

Good food and good service. We usually bring our working dogs and sit on the patio and the staff are wonderful about bringing water for the dogs. The patio is lovely.

Everything was exactly what I was looking for! I am visiting from Georgia for work. Went to Texas Bistro around 430. Got a bistro burger, which was exceptional, fries and 2 pints for $30 with tip!! My server Maddie was top-notch! Great job, y'all !!

I really enjoyed the food and service. Would definitely go again. 4 stars vs 5 only because the restaurant smelled a little weird. But everything else was great. The crab benedict with potatoes was delicious.

I initially came here because someone said the burgers were awesome, and they were good don’t get me wrong, but the fries are where it’s at! I am so picky with my fries and they were so good! Our waiter was attentive. The decorations were beautiful! I loved looking at all the pictures from around New Braunfels. We will definitely eat here again!

My husband and I frequent this place 2 to 3 times a month. It is about 40 mins from our house. Every time we go, the food is spot on. You can tell the chef is well loved by his staff. They all love working there. You will not be disappointed!!

This was our second time to dine in, and I was disappointed. For starters, we had spinach & artichoke dip. LOTS of cream cheese & some other diary product. Spinach. & artichoke didn’t have much taste at all. Ordered the stuffed poblano; waitress upsold me chicken & rice. First off, the poblano looked and tasted (very little taste), like a pre-stuffed frozen entree. The chile was indistinguishable from the “stuffing”- there was some corn and I have no idea what else. The chicken was dry & not particularly tasty. The rice looked & tasted like a pre packaged mix.
So disappointing!! Especially after reading all the other glowing reviews. Won’t be going back.

Went in later for valentines dinner. The male bartender was rude from the time we sat down. Didn’t refuse service but made it to where we didn’t want to eat there, then when I made a comment about him being rude, he decides to tell me he can refuse business. I waited all night to go there, now I’ll make sure to go else where before choosing to go here.

4 stars for take out: We ordered take-out from here after looking at the impressive menu. I ordered a pasta dish with chicken (pictured) that was quite good, just a little acidic. Timely and friendly service for take out.

EDIT 5 stars for dine-in: We ate here at the location on a different day (February 2025), and really enjoyed the food and service. I had a burger, which was delicious (photo included).
