Tried it for the first time. Great atmosphere. Greeted and seated quickly. Great recommendation of adult beverage. Jason the owner came over and introduced himself and gave me another adult beverage for Veterans Day. Food came and looked incredible. Got the wagyu burger with bacon and fries. Burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection and the bun was toasted.fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Wife had the Mac n cheese bowl topped with the Nashville chicken. Looked absolutely amazing. While leaving Jason came over again to invite us back for brunch. Suggested a Uber for brunch. lol. Most definitely be going back there. Thank you Jason ??

We popped in for an afternoon cocktail and had a really great time. We tried two different drinks that are a Downtowner original (one was bourbon based with black berry liqueur and one was a refreshing cocktail with a sugar rim). Both were delicious on a hot day. The atmosphere was really cool and the manager was friendly. We definitely had a nice time here.

Heard about the Downtowner on the radio. Finally, found out where it is located. The food was delicious. We started out with the end pieces. I liked it. It had a bit of a kick to it. Too fatty for my wife.Good selection of beer and my wife enjoyed the sangria. The Country Fried Steak was so good. I had the fries with gravy on them.Very glad to come here and looking forward to returning.

I’m not usually one to leave a review but felt the need. Went for brunch, nice atmosphere and love the vibes of the place. Our server was nice but not attentive whatsoever. Never asked us if we wanted anything besides the waters that the hostess gave us. We asked if she could give us a few minutes to decide what to eat and she didn’t come back for 10min almost 15min. (They were not that busy) When we got our food she never came back to check on us until she walked up with the check without asking if there was anything else we wanted to order, that blew my mind. Also the food was so tasteless. I got the egg plate and my boyfriend got the ancho pork belly omelette. They definitely don’t season anything. The “homemade fries” were soggy and just tasted full of grease. Every single thing was so underwhelming. The only good thing was the biscuit and butter.

If you haven't been go. We walked in at 9:01 and kitchen closed at 9:00pm. They really wanted to take care of us but we were a little hesitant to stay. We were afraid we would get the short end, asking them to stay open. We were very WRONG. The food was amazing, the best steak and salmon we have had I'm quite sometime.

I was a little disappointed with my breakfast. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. Unfortunately the chicken fried steak was tough, my eggs were supposed to be over easy but they ended up over cooked, my biscuit was hard enough to break a window. Needless to say I will not be going back.

The food is decent. Small portions. Most important, be ready to wait insanely amount of time for a burguer, Mac and cheese and fried pickles.Almost an hour to get our food.

Awesome place with a very cool menu that has a touch of style and comfort.Great whiskey selection and enough draft beers to keep ya happy. The bar is friendly and inviting, and the decor is fun with lots of interesting artwork. They also do brunch so you'll have to check that out as well!

On the beaten path, but totally independent. This one is worth your time if you like ferociously independent and unique restaurants. Portions are generous and the food tastes excellent! Different than some of the mainstream stuff.

Had pretty good food. Wish there were bottomless mimosas but the wait was short and the servers were nice! The fries and home fries were kinda gross if you like crispy fries. The ones here were massive and oil soaked. Inedible for me but maybe someone likes them like that. Try the Nashville hot sliders! Delicious!

Pictures don’t show the pathetic service.Unfortunately after a 45 minute wait just to grab a table, my girlfriend and I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to even have our drink order taken. I’m sure the food tastes okay but I wouldn’t know as I had to walk out after waiting another 20 minutes (paid for our drinks of course). The worst part of this whole experience was that a nice woman from the table next to us had to ask the server to attend to us.

The atmosphere would have a higher rating but they need to find a way to create some sound deadening boards or something. They never got busy last night but it was still so loud that it was hard for the servers to hear us and us to hear them. The service the last three times we have visited has been at a snail’s pace. It always takes an hour or more to get food from the time of ordering. I can excuse that at a busy restaurant but again, they only had about half the tables sat or less. Not busy at all however every bit of the experience last night felt like they were slammed busy. The only way to get another drink was to flag our waitress down. The food has been average overall. The last two times I’ve been they were out of items on the menu that I wanted. Their menu isn’t big at all, which is usually a good sign for high quality. I would expect for a small menu on a slow night they would have all options available. On top of that they have been out of several beer options the last few times too. The last 3 visits have been in 2023 for sure, I think we’re far enough removed from COVID to have all menu items available. We ended up with a charcuterie board and I’m not sure why they even put fresh fruit on the board. They were all spoiling.Very disappointing this place seems to be going down. Our first visit was awesome, but I can’t say that about any other visits. My one staple item that’s good each visit is the bartender’s coffee. Delicious

Kid-friendliness: They have crayons and a kids menu to draw on available

Went with a party of 10, service was pretty mediocre. Reservation was made and on time which was good. Food was completely bland and not spiced. Steak was a poor cut of meat, though the steak had decent seasoning. Overall would not recommend, you can cook a better steak at home. Bring your salt and pepper shakers if you come here lol
