I was there almost 3 weeks ago to make a comparison between German beer gardens and those in the USA.IN ADVANCE: there is German beer, although with a slight difference in taste, but that is due to US laws regarding ingredients etc. as I heard there.The atmosphere was great, the manager talked to me for almost an hour about experiences, life there, etc.! My husband and I had dinner here yesterday and really enjoyed it! We split the sausage platter and the Rueben, both of which were delicious and we’d highly recommend both.The main reason I wanted to write this review was because we had such great service from our server Megan (Meghan?). She was prompt, polite, and very sweet.We’ll definitely come back, it was a great experience.

Everything was great about Kraus’. Husband and I were in the area for our dog’s vet appt and needed lunch when she was done. Found this dog-friendly, beer having spot! The reuben wasn’t anything special, but it was yummy. Dressing served on the side. German potato salad has mustard and vinegar which leads to a very acidic flavor profile that wasn’t my cup of tea. Husband got the venison burger and ate it right up. Wish we’d live closer and we’d probably become regulars.
