Food was pretty good, when it came out. We didn't even get our appetizers and drinks until an hour after we got there. Oysters were extremely small. Server only came and saw us about every 20 minutes.
Our dinner and service was excellent. Our server, Jackson, was so friendly and engaging. Food was delicious.
The reel is always delicious, and the service is always top notch. The food is extremely affordable for how good it is, too. Excellent deal. Cocktails are excellent as well.
The catfish was horrible. It lacked flavor and freshness. Tasted like old frozen fish not fresh. I was very disappointed with it because I have eaten here before and it was good but it was a different dish.

Came here for the first time the day before Father’s Day and only waited about 20 minutes for a table. The hostess was super nice and was actively trying to get waiters to clear tables to get us seated.
When we were seated the waiter (Bryan?) was super nice and helpful, telling us about the $6 sangria deal and the most popular dishes. My boyfriend and I chose the fondue as an appetizer and the Boudreaux and the Pontchartrain with Flounder as entrees and everything was excellent!!
What threw me off was the party on the patio (that was clearing out by the time we were seated) still had dirty dishes all over the patio tables and several other tables were piled with dishes like they didn’t have a busser. I probably wouldn’t have noticed except for the fact that our waiter (not his fault) was apologizing for our second round of drinks taking so long because they were out of wine glasses and the family of 6 next to us only got 4 small plates. The restaurant was very loud so I imagine they were just busier than expected or understaffed. I’m giving 4 stars for now but will be coming back because of Bryan and I hope to be able to give them 5 stars next time!

Great food...attentive/exceptional service from Brian B.
Great seafood and service. We moved from the Texas coast so we are very picky about our seafood restaurant.
Visited here on a Thursday evening. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish...I had the Seafood Squier. Seafood was good...could of used a few more veggies but honestly the Dirty Brown rice was the most disappointing. I would skip the rice.
In comparison to other comparable dining experiences, the serving size was rather small for the cost.
Best redfish Pontchartrain I ever hadโฃ๏ธMy date had almond crusted redfish which was also delicious. Good sized portions with salad made a full meal. We were too full for dessert

We went for brunch. There was a good selection of food. Eggs Benedict was terrible. There was absolutely no taste to the hollandaise sauce & they hardly gave u any. They do not know how to make it I guess. Eggs r supposed to be soft & runny on Benedict & 1 of mine had no egg yolk & the other yolk was hard. Sausage & bacon is weird thing on benefit rather then traditional ham. The grits were horrible & uneatable. Pancakes were ok & sausage was just ok. We would never go back
The service was excellent but it seems like the food is not as good as it used to be. We've been here a few times and this was sort of disappointing.
food mediocre. 1 hour and 10 minutes to get lunch, and hardly any other customers there! Never again place was 100% better when it was in Bulverde
Great food and service ๐
