I love my German breads, so this is where I come for the real stuff!! The breads have such complex flavors and a lovely crust. i bought a loaf at the Farmer's Market and another at the bakery, just before returning home. Such a great place! Wir kommen wieder!
Stopped in for lunch; no frills just good food. Best treat ever was the Lavender Lemonade!! Again, NO FRILLS, a place to get something to eat, rest and keep moving! The desserts looked great and we shared a chees, bacon stuffed pretzel roll. YES, YES, YES, it is decadent but ohhhh sooo gooood!! Make sure to have it heated. Chicken salad was really good both as a sandwich and on a bed of lettuce. The beef soup hit the spot for me; creamy, beefy yummm.
What an amazing experience I had with this bakery. I wanted an authentic Black Forest cake for my husband’s birthday and here is what Uwe’s made. So delicious and elegant!! Thank you!!
