Best bakery that I've found so far in new Braunfels. Fantastic fresh pastries and they make their klobasneks have real sausage in them (unlike most other places that basically put a hot dog inside). Great selection and great quality, it will be my "go to" bakery in town unless word of mouth let's me know about another hidden gem
Absolutely delicious pastry! I can't speak for the German authenticity as I have never been to Germany, but this bakery will definitely knock your socks off when it comes to flavor. Loved the cheese Danish, peach streusel, bear claw, and everything else we tried. Hot tip- get them to go and eat in Landa Park for breakfast. This will be a regular stop for my family's future New Braunfels visits.
About a year ago, I would give Uwes 4 stars -- great cheese Danish, apple strudel, and a marble loaf, out of this world.Now, staffing is very hit and miss. There are times I've gone in and there is one person working the counter and tables.Also because of staffing - at least that's what I'm told - there are times I go in and the cake section is empty or some favorites are not there for weeks bc there is no baker?Also, I'm making a more conscious decision of...
