Love having this awesome restaurant right in the heart of New Ulm! We dined in for dinner and everyone’s meal was delicious.From design your own pizza to paninis to the sandwiches and Cesar Salad we wouldn’t have changed a thing! We will be regulars!

We ate lunch here today after hearing from friends this is the place to go. Where else in this area can you get a panini made with gorgonzola, well you can here and it is amazing. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. We will be back over and over.

I saw a few posts of their food and wanted to try it. We ordered cappuccino, cheesy bread, BBQ Italian pizza, sandwich (forget name) and a salad. WOW the portions are generous (look at the size of the salad!) everything was fresh and the bread was absolutely delicious/fresh and had crust, like being back in NJ (where I grew up). Service was fast, and it was cool watching interaction of families, that were stopping in after school, with staff .
The place is CLEAN and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping in and trying their food. Grabbed a coffee for the 30 min ride home and that coffee was also prefect!

Diverse menu that offers a lot for different diets, great food, and friendly service. I ordered the meatball sandwich and it was 👌🏻I’d definitely order it again.

Had a wonderful time with my girlfriend. A perfect Saturday. It wasn’t the weather as much, it was everyone. The friendliest staff, the family owned business, the history as to why this hidden gem is in New Ulm. Can’t wait to go back.

I don’t often give 5 stars but this place is excellent. The pizza was the best I’ve had in some time. Salad and coffee were very good. Very clean and inviting atmosphere with excellent staff. The owner uses mostly family recipes. If you’re in the area, you must eat here.

Absolutely the best meatball sandwich ever - the bread appeared to be freshly baked and the pasta salad was wonderful too. And oh my, the macaroon! The restaurant is very clean and cute. The outdoor patio is very nice for a warm day. I will definitely be back.

I'm not really one to ask for or leave reviews, but I felt this was worthy of sharing. After a long week of work and life, I surprised my girls and drove out to New Ulm to try the pizza place. This has been a place I've wanted to try since they opened, but I haven't stopped long enough to do it. The dinner ended up being more than I imagined. Bel Tavolo was a wonderful experience for all of us, but the service and genuine kindness from the staff and owner were top-notch! My girls were cranky & I'm tired - bad combo to start, but we did it anyway. Frustrated with it all, I almost packed up for the night and left. Right before I asked for a box, the owner walked up and completely distracted all of us in the best way, even offering my girls a treat of their choice if they could pull it together and enjoy their meal with their momma. He single-handedly saved the night and completely changed the tone of our dinner. Not only was the food delicious, but the compassion shown for another family who was struggling was worth everything to me. I will return for future coffee breaks, meals, and gift cards, but more importantly, for the family environment and kindness that was shown to us tonight. Thank you, friends.
