“I found this gem of a restaurant in New Ulm Texas that we happened to see and stopped in. Upon entering you are greeted with a very inviting space that makes you want to just pull up a chair and stay awhile. Our waitress greeted us with a big smile and made you feel right at home. The menu is a mix of appetizers, salads, paninis, subs, and pizzas. All the items on the menu sounded amazing which made the choice that much harder. Appetizer:Cheesy Garlic Bread. 9/10$6.99It doesn't get much better than a warm slice of cheesy garlic bread, served with a savory marinara sauce for dipping. The bread itself is oh so yummy but that marinara sauce is to die for. I could of just eaten this and would of left happy Entrees:Meatball. 9/10$12.99A traditional Italian : American sandwich with meatballs and marinara sauce on a toasted bun with melted cheese, is a fam favorite.This meatball sub was amazing, simple yet full of flavor. The bread was crispy and the meatballs melted in your mouth. The cheese was very creamy and complimented that heavenly marinara sauce exceptionally well. Had the pasta salad as my side and it is really good. It is made with perfectly cooked Cavatappi pasta, pepperoni, cucumber, bell peppers, and tomatoes with a yummy crdressing. Garlic Chicken Parm. 9/10$13.99Grilled chicken, marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, pimentos and sweet basil pesto, served a on buttery garlic hoagie roll.The flavors are off the chart, the pesto along with the marinara are killer and will keep you coming back for more. Desserts: Tiramisu. 7/10$6.99An elegant and rich layered Italian dessert made with delicate ladyfinger cookies, espresso or instant espresso, mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, Marsala wine, rum and cocoa powder.This one is your basic tiramisu but don't get me wrong it was really good and hit the sweet spot for sure. This small town pizzeria has some most excellent food and service around. This is a must try if you are in or close to New Ulm Texas. They also have a boutique that sells a host of items.”

“Decided to stop in during lunch and order takeout on the way home. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries along with a garden salad. I didn't have to wait long to place the order or have to wait long before it was done. The order was correct. The meal was tasty and fresh.Vegetarian options: Had some options for a vegetarian since I ordered for a vegetarian in my home. This was the salad.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a couple of handicap parking spots since I'm handicap. Everything was handicap accessible from what I could gather while I was there.”

“I've been coming here for nearly a year now under new ownership. The steaks are great on Friday nights and good company. During the week there is a daily menu that is good comfort food. Come in and shoot pool, throw darts, or just sit at the bar and watch games and listen to jukebox music. Try it you'll like it!!”

“We had a family wedding to attend in New Ulm and found ourselves running extremely early. Lucky for us, Pivos was open! It was a welcome sight and a great stop after an hour and a half in the car. Gave us a chance to stretch our legs, go to bathroom, and pass the time with a bevvie. Great little place, friendly folks, and the weather was perfect for sitting on the patio.”

“Don't let the small outside fool you, they are big on flavor. You will order at the bar. Very rustic, very cool dining experience. The burgers are HUGE the BBQ is delicious, but get there early before they run out of sliced brisket. Be sure to save some room for the delicious banana pudding for dessert. If the front is full there is more parking on the side.”
