We spent $87 on takeout, and none of us could eat our food. The food tastes awful. Cheeseburger, fish sandwich, fish platter, Philly, and gumbo. The only thing good was the fries. It all went in the trash. Never again..will go to Jasper from now on. We were trying to support our locals
Went in today Cajun Joe’s today and ate the most delicious new Burger they were offering! Jalapeño mushroom patty on a jalapeño cheddar bun with a special sauce! It was amazing! I dubbed it the Voodoo Burger!
Highly recommended if you are driving through or visiting Newton, TX to stop by and get some great food!

The atmosphere has changed since the passing of Mr. Joe, but his wife and cooks are doing a great job, keeping the flavor alive.
