We care about quality and rarely eat at chains, but Marco’s is a major exception. They consistently deliver. Our usual orders are the Philly, pepperoni-jalapeño, and sausage Magnifico with mushrooms and white sauce — all with Romesean and garlic crust plus garlic dipping sauce. Sometimes we add light-baked breadsticks. My wife is celiac, and while cross-contamination is always a possibility, she has never reacted to their cauliflower-crust pizzas.
They’re better than I remember Papa John’s being in the ’90s and miles ahead of most chains. They hold their own against local Italian pizza spots near us. I make artisanal pizzas in my pizza oven, so I don’t say this lightly — Marco’s is hard to beat for convenience, price, and quality. Even the red pepper flakes are fresh and spicy.
