Sparks Sports Bar

I was over in NRH for something & I was looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. This place was highly-rated so I stopped in. It seemed crowded & when I went inside it was clear why. There was a live band playing. Sounded decent, but the customers & atmosphere weren't what I was looking for. Too crowded to sit, & I didn't even bother with a menu. I would say the crowd was much younger but to be honest, there were quite a few older people. But it wasn't what I was looking for, as I've left my crowded, noisy bar days behind. I did get very prompt and friendly service, which surprised me given the crowd, so i had one drink then left.

This place was great! Little high on beer bottles but great hang out and great employees. No food sold here but a hot dog stand showed up and was a hit!

a place that needs to be shut down and open up for a better bar. The music/live bands are biggest complaint I have about this place. don't except good music. best way to compare it is old heads picking up guitars and drums for the first time and acting like there hot stuff.

Check your bill... Crazy that they can put other peoples drinks on my tab that I never authorized plus add 2 imaginary beers and then act stupid when I question the bill.

The band was good tho.

They let their regulars attack people and Ban the people that got attacked. So wrong on so many levels. The owners are awesome they just have a bunch of bullies they let hurt people and think it’s ok. It’s not

Actually went to Cocodries Bayou Kitchen, at same location. Food was very good, and lots of it. Beer was cold and reasonably priced.

Good place to hang out with friends and play pool or darts. The day we we went they had live band.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Been going here for the last 7 years. Only disappointment is that they got rid of smoking inside and the pool sticks are shitty but other than that excellent bartenders. Especially Merideth. Check this place out. Cheap drinks, great atmosphere. Come shoot a game of pool. They also have been refurbishing the place. It looks excellent.

What a great spot! Found by accident. Great service, beers, and cocktails. Live music, big patio, clean, and lots of darts and pool tables. Melting pot of people and backgrounds. New favorite spot.
