“Service was great. It was our first time there and we weren’t sure what to order so the waitress offered to let us sample some stuff. You don’t get that type of service these days at restaurants. Ordered the chicken and carve asada tacos which were good along with the chips and guacamole. Not only was everything delicious but they don’t skip on the portion size. We paid $18 for guacamole and we definitely got our monies worth. We will be back! The only down side is the space is a little small. Other than that everything was great.“

I am glad to see that they FINALLY hired a real AC company to design and install a sufficient cooling system to keep the place comfortable after years and many attempts to get by cooling the old service bays “cheap”.“

“Best Mexican Food I’ve ever had, hands down. I was visiting Odessa for a short period of time and lots of people suggested I eat there. They serve breakfast all day, the food was top notch, the service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was also super clean. We ate there several times and I never got anything that I didn’t like!!!“

“Casa Ortiz catered my sister’s wedding. They went above and beyond to meet the bride and grooms every need as well as all the guest’s in attendance. They were on time, professional, kind, and respectful. The food was amazing! It was not Tex-Mex food, it was authentic and delicious! I went back for a second plate! “I had not been here in about a year. Was in the neighborhood this morning and thought I'd grab a bite. I ordered two burritos and a large drink and pulled forward. While waiting, it occurred to me that $21 was absolutely ridiculous for a large drink and two burritos. At that point, I just drove off. There are too many really good burrito joints in Midland with bigger burritos and much better prices to waste my money at Jumburrito. Never again!!“

The Hot Chocolate was Delicious and much needed because the AC works very well.
The Menudo was PERFECT!! It was flavorful and prepared just right! The meat was Clean (iykyk) AMAZING taste!!

The SuperBreakfast was more than Super! Pancakes so Fluffy thay soak up the syrup, hashbrowns made fresh &full of flavor, eggs made exactly as I asked for.“

“I knew this would be a great place to take some friends who had never been to Texas before and wanted to experience non-chain Tex-Mex. The neighborhood, building, decor, staff and quality of food was perfect. However, the mirachi band is too much. Way too loud. It doesn't need to be so loud. It was if the horns had to prove they could play loudly. I get it, when a mirachi band is playing you don't have conversation, but wow, it doesn't have to be so overwhelming. We will go back. “Best Menudo in town and huge portions! This place gives you plenty of break or tortillas with your now and the size of the bowls are huge. FYI- Large is pretty much the same as the XLarge so save your money and go with the Large. I will definitely be back!“
