The butter chicken is a standout dish, and the Karachi Gosht was a perfect portion and prepared perfectly. The lamb is highly recommended for its flavor and tenderness. The garlic and lamb-stuffed naan and the delicious Kabuli Naan are also customer favorites. It's a truly mom & pop place and the staff is very eager to please. Although the restaurant is located inside a hotel with a dining room with Formica tables and not much ambiance, guests find the food to be excellent, very good, and reasonably priced. The owner is from north India so typical North Indian dishes are better. For those who love good Indian cuisine, Taste of India is a must-visit restaurant in West Texas.
