“This establishment has a nice vibe to it. I opted for Uber Eats to grab some takeout. The pho I ordered wasn't half bad; it was actually quite good and left me feeling satisfied. I'm considering trying a different pho option next time to explore the menu further. Nonetheless, overall, this place manages to hit the mark perfectly.“

Chela's Cafe Vietnamese •

“My husband and I drove by this little place on the west side and the Vietnamese/Mexican piqued our interest. So glad we did! My husband had the Saigon Beef, I can't describe the flavor, it was rich, buttery, a little spicy and had flavors I can't put my finger on. It was served over xao noodles, which were thin, slightly crispy and perfect. I had the Sautee Chicken, which was cooked with pineapples. It had more of a sweet/sour flavor and in also had it over those amazing little xao noodles. It was good but I would order the Saigon Beef again. So addicting! This was our first time eating Vietnamese food and we are hooked! I've known people who like Pho, a tr add it in all Vietnamese soup. Chela serve pho, but only on Saturday. :( What I liked best is you can hear the cook, a diminutive Vietnamese woman who runs the restaurant with her husband, chopping up the fresh vegetables that go on your dish. This is fresh and authentic. Way to go West Odessa for getting some class and culture! We had chips and queso. It was good, but it seems the Mexican food is just a way to get people in with familiar food. Skip the Mexican and go for the vietnamese! Service was a little slow, but it's all cooked to order and their lemonade is squeezed fresh, so i can forgive that a little. Prices were reasonable. Portions were genourous. It's a little more than you'd spend for Chinese takeout, but you get what you pay for. This is a gem in an otherwise boring strip of BBQ and burger joints!! Try it, you won't be dissapointed!!“
