I ordered 3 hamburger steak dinners. 1st off my roll was sopping wet from the green bean juice. Potatoes had no gravy the green beans tasted like they were poured straight out of a can no seasoning heating or anything. The hamburger steak was very bland tasting and onions wasnt even cooked just raw onion on it. No salt and pepper packets no napkins plus one of the plates leaked watery brown gravy all in the bag for $47.00 I can think yall can do better. I know Scott is a better...read full review
An awesome cafe with excellent food! A rare gem along TX 114. Best chicken fried steak and creamed potatos I've had in a couple of decades.
Great burgers and apple cobbler for lunch today! Glad we stopped by as we passed through town.

Old Time Cafe is an amazing diner-like cafe in Olney, perfect for a personal small-town stop. It is known for its excellent chicken fried steak, generous portions, and well-done food. The service is super friendly and attentive. With more than one option for many foods, including a Sunday buffet, it is a place to sit a spell and enjoy. Note its 2pm closing time, except for Friday dinner service.
