Service was a little slow but everything was delicious!

The food was very good, the attention of the waitresses was very good, but the attention of the cashier was terrible with my stepfather, I don't know if it was racism, but he did not remove his face of disgust and he always answered without desire and with a bad temper.

They say open till 9pm but fail to mention on website they close in the afternoons...which means you will waste your time going after 2pm...

Our table got fajitas. Some were beef the others were trio. All four dishes were cooked so long the fajitas were dry and crispy. It was like eating jerky! The next time we are in Ozona on a Tuesday when The Hitching Post is closed we will eat at Dairy Queen. The food can’t be any worse and will be a whole lot cheaper. Save your money and do not eat here.

Our table ordered the beef fajitas, trio fajitas, chicken quesadilla and large queso. The fajitas were so over cooked they were crunchy. It was like jerky! Absolutely terrible. The chips were tough, salsa had zero flavor and queso was ok. We usually eat at the Hitching Post when we are in town but they are closed on Tuesday. I will never come here again. If I'm in Ozona on a Tuesday again I will just eat at Dairy Queen. It will be better food than this for a lot less money.

The Ranchero steak is made just like my grandmother would have. The taste is best described by how the food leaves the best taste behind. So good you have to order another plate. And the employees are great food came out fast but it was made right

Amazing fried catfish, chicken fried steak (with gravy but try it w queso!). Everything there is yummy! The fideo is my favorite. Home style atmosphere. Off interstate and worth the drive thru the biggest little town in Texas - Ozona

Very nice little restaurant that was evidently a favorite of the locals. Everyone was very friendly and they all seemed to know each other.Good selection on the menu and the food was very good as was the service.Someone in there honored my husband's military service by paying for our dinner. Thanks do much to that person or persons. It means so much to the veterans that someone appreciates what they went through. They really appreciates every time someone says, "Thanks for your service. Driving west on I-10, I felt dinnertime hit just about Ozona. I tried out this restaurant, and it was a complete surprise. I ordered Trompo Tacos, and they were so good. The tortillas were just perfectly toasty on the outside, fresh and tender, and the marinated pork was tasty. But those grilled pineapple slices made it! Having read the reviews, I didn't expect too much from the rice and beans, but the beans had great flavor. The waitstaff was attentive enough but not hovering. This place was my favorite kind: unpretentious, solid food, decent prices. I hope they stay open for years.
