We went there for lunch, I ordered a chicken fried steak it was not tenderized (not a cube steak). By far the worst chicken fried steak I’ve ever had, it was very tough. We ordered chips and salsa and the chips were greasy. The waitress never came back after bringing our food or ask to refill our drinks or chips. Horrible service. I ordered a chopped sirloin however was brought a hamburger steak. I informed the waitress of the error and she said no that is the sirloin. It was a patty made of ground meat with brown gravy. Rather than the waitress taking fault she tried to lie about it. Do not eat here.
WHITAKER'S restaurant was a great place to eat. We celebrated my dads birthday here. It was Friday evening, fish night. Highly recommend it!!! If your traveling and you are close to Paduch Texas, make it a stop. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, you will be glad you went out of the way. Very clean and very friendly atmosphere. I am ready to go back.
