“A friend gifted us with a certificate for Mario’s. We had not tried it out yet, so thought this was the perfect time to do so. I’m so glad we did! Their fajitas, tamales, cheese enchiladas, and queso were delicious! Charro beans were loaded with flavor and the rice and refried beans were pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant in East Texas. Not bad at all. We will definitely be back!”

“Perfect for a refreshing lunch. Friendly and fast. It’s a walk up spot so we sat at the shaded picnic tables on their patio. We had the lemongrass chicken sandwich and rice bowl. We also ordered the peach lemonade with popping boba and it was just as refreshing as the food. Light and delicious. Definitely recommend and would come back for sure next time I’m in town.”

“While traveling from Northeast Louisiana to North Zulch Texasto purchase calves( shout out to Tanner and Katie Skinner, Skinner’s ranch), we decided on the way back to find lunch/dinner. It was about 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. We found this restaurant on Google. The menu looked good and they had good ratings. Now because of the construction down town Palestine it was difficult to locate but we lucked up on a jewel of a restaurant. It’s your typical Texas decor but the food was good. My husband had the chicken fried steak which was good. Our friend had the catfish which was also good. I had probably the best club sandwich ever. It was worth the detours and the trip.”

“Walked in around dinner time and was greeted immediately. Our server Kyla was supper helpful as we had never been to Giovanni’s. I lived in Chicago all my life and have been to hundred high end, small neighborhood Ma and Pa joints. The food was a 10! Right up there with the best Italian places I’ve been. We had the lasagna, fried ravioli , and Tortellini Alfredo. Each dish was fresh from scratch. You will be glad you went. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Ambiance and cleanliness was above par.”

They always have a daily bargain in the shopping cart. Great place to get a good deal on snacks to throw in kids lunches or keep on the counter for the afternoon munchies.”

“I had trouble placing a large catering order via the Subway website catering menu from the Subway located on 2006 Crockett Rd in Palestine so I went into the store to place my order.There, I met with the wonderful store manager, Serena, who was very accommodating.She took the time to explain to me the details of each item & all the options I had.We left off the veges to keep the bread from getting soggy but added a vege tray so guests could add back their choice of veges.There were some items on the catering menu that were not yet added locally so she volunteered to contact her owner and get back to me.As promised, she cheerfully reached out to me by phone to confirm all the details & gave me the best price available.As promised, the sandwiches, wraps, salads & cookies were absolutely perfect & fresh, even which such a large order.Nice job Subway!I will definitely be visiting your store again!I highly recommend Subway at 2006 Crockett Road in Palestine ”

“Now you can always count on the hot & ready to be available even during the dinner rush, however when I called in at this location i had a huge order to fill for our girls/boys pizza party they not only broke down combos/cost of the pizzas they made sure to directly give me the best deals they could knowing I had a huge order as well as let me know that if i called ahead 30mons before they would make sure my order would be ready on time for pick up along w/savings I didn't even think was possible. The staff here definitely goes above & beyond to not only satisfy their customers but top their customers needs to the fullest!

Kid-friendliness: Most don't know this but they have a kids pizza size & combos too

Wheelchair accessibility: I take my double stroller in through the doors there was only 1 location that I have visited that I could not fit my double stroller though it”
