“Our first time in and they secured us as future customers forever. The Lengua tacos were beyond generous. My wife's chicken flauta plate was a culinary work of art. We both ate more than we should and still had leftovers. Salsa Verde is 5 🌟!!!“

“My favorite place to get a taco salad, soda, and side of rice for under 15$ at lunch. There lunch specials are awsome and food is very tasty. I have gone there so much and ordered the same thing so much the cooks in the back see me and atomaticly know what I want.

“Excellent Mexican Food, I am very picky about the quality and style of my Mexican Food. This Mexican food is the best I have found not only in Ellis County but DFW area, reminds me of South Texas style- Jalisco style food. Especially the Carne Guisada is made South Texas style all gravy no vegetables mixed in. The tortillas are monsters, a little different, I usually tear them in to pieces to use the are so large-- 😆

“This is our weekly spot, true authentic Mexican food.Their waters are great, I always get pineapple and my husband gets horchata.Tacos, caldos, gorditas, enchiladas, tortas are always a hit and they do not shy from meat or other ingredients in your food.The chips and salsa are always fresh and good.Service is always fast and amazing

“Good food. Authentic Mexican cuisine they have a short list but it's all good. You can call ahead I recommend it everything is made fresh so a pretty good wait 25-40 minutes has been my experience well worth it though. Friendly staff and clean spot.“

“We have been to Taqueria El Jacalito on Kaufman a couple of times, We will definitely be back. They have never let us down. The tacos I ordered were mouth watering and my husband ordered the chicken quesadilla with beans and rice. If you like something spicy then get the orange sauce. It's hot but my husband and I kept going back for more. We will absolutely give our money to a mom and pop place rather then a big chain restaurant. #shoplocal #supportsmallbusinesses“

“Food was decent. I understand it was close to closing 2:30pm, that should not alter the quality of food. The onion and bell peppers need to cook longer, the enchilada looked microwaved. The meat was under seasoned. For the price the food is what I expected. The staff was very friendly and attentive.“

“The main reason for the 5 stars is the service. The folks working are always so polite and have the food ready by the time I get to the window. Very impressed with their efficiency! The meat could taste a little better compared to other Taco Bells I've gone to but overall I always know I'll get great service when I go.“
