“I stopped by with a friend a couple of weeks ago on a Friday and we had a good time. We got there early enough to play pool without having to wait, and it was pretty cheap (I think it was $5 per hour). They also had a live band playing in the back, and while I didn't really check that out, I know it's one of the things the Flying Walrus is known for. All in all, a fun time!“

“Actually, I have been going here for years and then we stopped. I don’t know why it was for whatever reason. But my husband, knowing that it was my favorite restaurant, made a reservation for my birthday. It’s a good thing he did because the place was packed. It was the day before Thanksgiving. We were walked right back to a table for two. It was wonderful. Also, they have the best frozen margarita that I have ever had! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation“

“excellent service, pool tables are new and they have a long selection of imported beers, something no body has a big projector screen for games and fights and cold beer. also is a friendly place lots of parking space .Features: very large space so distancing is included, but mask wearing is optional, they have outdoor patio and inside tables are 6ft apart.“

Not only can you drink while you shop , but you can relax and talk with the bartenders or Listen to the music and vibe . It’s definitely a MUST VISIT if you’re in the McAllen area . “I have been to The Dive both solo and with a friend, and each time has been so much fun. Karaoke here is a must, but you definitely have to sign up early. The food is also really good, although you might have trouble finding a seat if you get there late. The live bands are really enjoyable and love interacting with the crowd. If I am not mistaken, the Dive has an outdoor seating section too, but I haven't really checked this out since it's been cold recently. All in all, a great place for a memorable night!“
