First time here today. I had the chili cheese dog with tater tots. My boyfriend had the mushroom chicken sandwich with French fries. The chili cheese dog was the best I have had in a long time because they grill the bun and the hot dog! The tater tots came out crispy like I asked. Thanks guys, I will be back!

The moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a worker named Bianca at the front, who made me feel instantly welcome. She was kind, patient, and gave me the time I needed to decide, which made the ordering process stress-free. Not only was her service outstanding, but she also made sure our food came out quickly and fresh. I ordered the avocado burger with Cajun fries, and it was absolutely incredible. The fries had the perfect kick of spice to complement the burger. Honestly, it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. With service this good and food this delicious, I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend others do the same!

Everything was really good the only problem I had was that the vegetables were not fresh and neither were the buns . Other than that everything was really good. The hamburgers are freaking huge 😋 we had the BLT hamburgers they were great, with sweet potato fries and onion rings everything was delicious 😋

Tried Hippo’s Burger in Pasadena — the burger was pretty mid. It smelled and tasted frozen, and the bun was bland. The fries were also undercooked, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the place was clean, service was fast, and the cashier was friendly. Overall, just an average spot.

Do not order the wings, they were mostly fatty skin. Worst wings I have ever tried. Stick with the burgers.
First time i have ever eaten at Hippo Burgers. It was awesome. The buns were different than what i am use too, yellow looking bread bun interior with a toasted brown exterior. I talked to the cook and he told me the buns are made with some type of egg additive I most definitely will eat there again.
