The best grilled chicken sandwich I have had. I have tried it at several locations and it is always the same big juicy piece of heaven every time. I promise you that! Jesus choose to give an ice house a piece of chicken from heaven. Also, they have rocking fried pickles and good fries.
I had their blue cheese burger on a weekday. Overall underwhelming. it tasted similar to a Red Robin burger or a Wendy's burger. Service is interesting in that they take your order at the front and hand you the order sheet. You take the order to your table and then hand it over to the waitresses. Why not just keep the order sheet?
This place is right behind my neighborhood, which is really convenient, I frequent it often. The food is great, probably the best blackened catfish I have ever had, consistently. Large selection of cold beer, and great tap beer prices. My only gripe with this place is that every time I go I grab a beer and want to go to a table an chill for a bit. Without fail the staff at the front of the place insists that I place a food order right then and there....which I refuse every single...
