Great service, excellent food. Drinks are amazing.

This is great if you want (what I call) Texas Cajun and not Louisiana Cajun. Their chicken fried steak and parmesan crusted chicken are both fabulous! The bisque is also amazing. My husband, who is from Louisiana, detests their crawfish. He says the Gumbo (which has a super dark rue) and the etouffee are ok but not his favorite. Overall, it seems like the fried and creamy sauced things are usually great. Also, we really like they usually have 80-90s music playing.

Updating (July 2026) to say that this place is hit or miss. When it's good, its great. However, more often than not, it's not as good as it used to be.

Recommended dishes: Crab Bisque, Steak, Crawfish Bisque

Let me start by saying that I have eaten at Floyd's many times and have always enjoyed my visits. Even though it's out of crawfish season, I was craving crawfish and decided to stop by.

Unfortunately, this was the worst dining experience I've ever had at Floyd's. I ordered 5 pounds of seasoned crawfish but was served unseasoned crawfish instead. When I politely informed my waiter that my crawfish wasn't seasoned and asked for seasoning, he told me I would have to pay an additional $1.

I questioned why I should have to pay extra when I had already ordered seasoned crawfish. I then asked for a to-go box and my receipt. After looking at the receipt, the waiter realized that I had, in fact, ordered seasoned crawfish and immediately began apologizing.

What disappointed me the most wasn't the mistake—it was the assumption that I was being dishonest. I felt disrespected because my concern wasn't taken seriously until the receipt proved I was telling the truth.

I won't mention the waiter's name, but this visit took place on Monday, June 29, 2026, between approximately 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, customer service is defined by how those mistakes are handled. Sadly, this experience has cost Floyd's a loyal customer and earned this review. I will not be returning.

We celebrated Father's Day and sat outside on the patio. Our first waiter did not seem to be interested on waiting on us, the second waitress was great. Love the catfish bites

Always good food. Always.

I took my dad here for Father’s Day, and unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. Our server was rude to my family throughout the meal. At one point, while my father was still eating, the server began clearing the table. He placed an appetizer plate on top of my dad’s food and even hit my father’s hand while he was still eating.
The server then went to speak with the general manager, and I assume he explained what happened. When the general manager came over, I tried to discuss the situation, but he was also rude and dismissive toward my family.
What should have been a special Father’s Day celebration turned into an unpleasant experience. Because of the way we were treated by both the server and general manager. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

We have been great fans of this restaurant for several years. The food is always good. We especially enjoy sitting at the bar and visiting with the bartenders. Especially Emily. She always welcomes us and treats us well. We enjoy eating during happy hour and look forward to her serving us.
