We hired Asia + her team to cater a very special intimate house party in Lakeway. They did an incredible job with the food and service. The food was delicious. The food presentation was beautiful. Asia is incredibly easy to work with, responsive, and answered all my questions about every detail that came up. I really appreciated how her team went above and beyond to help make our party special.

My buddy and I hired Apolonia Catering to cater our holiday party for 25 or so of our chosen family. This was my first time hiring and working with a caterer to provide food for any event big or small. Asia was very proactive and informative with her communication and incredibly patient with all of my questions and requests. She was always responsive when I'd reach out with a question and made sure I was getting exactly what I needed. The payment process was super simple online as well. The day of she was again proactive in communication letting me know when the food was on its away and it arrived well packaged, and arranged beautifully. Heath that delivered the food was incredibly friendly, very informative, and a joy to work with getting everything set up and again answering all of my questions. All of the food we ordered was beyond what we expected. Having grown up in a Polish neighborhood in Connecticut I was beyond excited to find someone that could provide my favorites from my youth as well as some more of the more traditional catered food, all fresh, appetizing to look at, and delicious to consume. We had a wonderful mix of traditional pierogi flavors as well as some that were flavors that are more consistent with what local Texans would expect. The meatballs and the stuffed mushroom caps were both incredibly popular, but the standout of the night was absolutely the mushroom deviled eggs. I know! I was hesitant too when I saw them on her offering list, but I jumped and am so glad I did. That was the first tray to empty at the party. I admit, I was sad there weren't many leftovers, but elated our guests enjoyed the food so much there was very little left to pack up and take home for the next day. I am very much looking forward to working with Apolonia Catering again in the very near future. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being an integral part of an amazing holiday party for me and mine.

My boyfriend and I found this place at a booth at the Farmer's Market and they were serving potato mushroom, potato cheese, and meat at the time. It was 6 for $9, so we got 2 of each to try. There was a young boy that was handling the food. When he handed it to us, the food fell out and he put the food back in the container with his bare hands, then he gave it to us like nothing happened. I was so disgusted by the food handling, and I was too shocked to say anything when he still gave it to us after dropping the food right in front of us. The incident ruined my appetite. Nonetheless, we threw away the top pieces that fell out and ate the rest. It was pretty good, especially with the beet and sour cream condiments they gave us on the side. Hopefully it was just a bad day and this incident doesn't happen to anyone else.

I am basing this review solely on their pierogi, which I've purchased multiple times at both Borderless European Market and at the Lakeline Farmers' Market. After a trip to Poland a few years ago, where I essentially lived on pierogi at any meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert), I was ruined for any grocery store pierogi upon my return. And while I do know how to make pierogi, they are time-consuming and my kitchen is small - and it's a lot of work for just one person. So, I thought I was done with pierogi because nothing lived up to the deliciousness and care of what I ate while traveling around the country...until I had Apolonia's pierogi. These are incredible - authentic, made with care and both traditional as well as more inventive flavors. I really enjoyed the strawberry and chocolate ones they did for Valentine's day one year as they brought me back to the strawberry ones I had had in Poland for breakfast. I don't think you can ever go wrong with the potato and farmer's cheese, which are my solid go-to. These freeze well and are a nice treat when I'm looking for something hearty and comforting to eat - just dress them up with some butter and onions and your mouth will take a culinary trip to Poland!

Asia and and Heath were great for my wedding! My venue already provided the main meal, so was looking for someone to cater just the appetizers. Also, I did not want a waiter service, just place items on table and let guests serve themselves. This was very challenging to find, as most caterers wanted to either cater all or nothing. And, then those for just the apps, would not do it unless "they were present to serve it". Asia was very accommodating to my needs! She was so pleasant to speak with over the phone, and then by text and email. We worked out a date for my (then, Fiancee) and I to come to her location to have a tasting! OMG..everything was soo good! If we had a larger wedding, we would have ordered more! LOL! But, knew we would love the Pierogis ! We chose the spinach and feta and the potato and farmers cheese for our wedding (*I did not get to have one at my wedding, as by the time I was down with pictures, those were the first things already gone :) ) ! The roast beef crostini with horseradish (which usually, I am not a fan of, but was NOT overwhelming in this case), then the watermelon cups with feta and cucumber (great on our hot day), and finally, the thing you MUST get from them is the Sausage platter! We tried a few at our tasting, but more came on our plate at our wedding. I am glad I got to enjoy some of that, that day! Overall, many of my guests came up to me and told me how much they enjoyed all the appetizers! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM for any event you have! Great food, and great service! Thanks so much Asia and Heath!

Tried some of their pierogies at the Mueller Farmers market. Super tasty. Brisket - 4/5 Potato Cheddar - 5/5 They make them ready to eat or you can buy them frozen at the farmers market. The potato cheddar were delicious, soft and full of flavor. The brisket was a tad dry but still amazing, soft delicious dough.

I tried their pierogis at the Mueller farmers market. Had the loaded potato, potato onion, and potato cheddar. All were good, but could use more filling. The loaded potato was obviously the best (had bacon which gave it more flavor that goes well with potatoes). The potato cheddar was second best. The peirogis also come with sour cream and a pickled beet radish (my description of it) which accompanied the pierogis well. I also bought a frozen packet with potato and farmers cheese which the seller said was good. They had various other flavors as well: like a mushroom one and spinach/feta. Very creative fillings.

Wow, Apolonia were the stars of my wedding!! They absolutely rocked the presentation and the food was outstanding! Seriously, I am so happy I chose them as my caterers - I have received so many compliments on everything they served - especially the cabbage rolls, pierogis, chicken and deli platters. They are so professional, friendly and wonderful to work with! I would use them again for any future events. Oustanding experience!!! GREAT WEDDING EATS!!!

Apolonia Catering were the caterers at our wedding. They specialize in Polish food and we were incredibly lucky to book them for our Russian style wedding with a dinner served family-style! I can go on and on about their food, and so can our quests! The food was incredible, of high quality, and prepared with love that showed in everything that was on the table: whether it was a slice of bread in bruschetta, or a chunk of meat in Beef Stroganoff, or diced vegetables in the Polish salad. And, oh, boy, was EVERY dish a hit! Phyllo cups with smoked salmon, Mozzarella tomato bites, and a Fruit platter as Cocktail hour appetizers; Polish Deli Platter, Mini Herrings Canapes, Blini with salmon roe, Bruschetta with Brie, Prosciutto and asparagus and Pierogi w/ sauerkraut and mushrooms as dinner appetizers; Polish salad, Green salad, homemade sauerkraut salad, and, of course, a star at any Russian celebration - "Herring Under the Fur" (" "); Beef Stroganoff w/ mashed potatoes, Chicken Francaise w/ roasted asparagus and stuffed peppers for our vegetarian guest. Besides being wonderful cooks (and Izabella is also a great baker specializing in Polish pastry!), Asia and Izabella are friendly, absolutely charming, very reliable and so thoughtful. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Incredible people running the best catering outfit in town. Asia and Izka were responsive, detailed, creative and hard working in every aspect of catering our wedding for 120+ people. Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, they pulled off the event with a venue kitchen that can only be described as minimal at best. I can't say enough good things about this team - their success is well deserved. A++

We hired Apolonia Catering for my parents wedding anniversary. We wanted to do something special for my mother. Since she is Polish we were thrilled to find Apolonia. The crew of 2 arrived on time. They promptly got started setting things up. These gals were super friendly too! They put on a great looking spread. The Pierogi were amazing! As good as or better than my babci. Everything they served was delicious. And to top it off the Pavlova. OMG I can't describe how fantastic the presentation was or how amazing it tasted. If you need an event catered and want quality homemade (with love) food, I strongly recommend Apolonia Catering.

I hired Apolonia Catering to provide some food for my birthday party, and was so delighted that I did! Asia and Margie were so sweet, helpful and professional, and set up an amazing spread of delicious and traditional Polish treats. It's really hard to find this kind of cuisine in Texas, and it really warms my heart to be able to taste the special flavors that make me feel so at home and connected to my ancestors. What this company is doing is really marvelous, and I am so grateful to them for making my birthday extra magical with their delectable array of my favorite food! I ordered the buckwheat blini with herring and capers, the pâté canapés, some sausage, cheese and pickle nibbles, pierogis, and an exquisite pavlova - which was the crowning glory of the night! My friends are still raving about that magical cake, days later. Excellent communication, very responsible, clear, focused and prompt service with smiles all around. We love Apolonia, and are excited to see how they grow here in Austin!

I've been in the medical industry in Austin for 11 years now and have tried catered food from just about everywhere in town it seems. I was lucky enough to try Apolonia catering yesterday and their food is absolutely fantastic. Apolonia's offerings are far above most other catering options. Everything I tried was full of flavor and tasted fresh-made. From their cured meats, to pierogi's to cabbage rolls everything was given rave reviews by the entire staff. If you're looking for really excellent food for your next catering situation I'd definitely recommend Apolonia as a top shelf choice.
