I ordered the egusi with fufu and it was delicious. Not greasy yet flavorful! Out of 2 other African cuisine places I tried, which are generally closer to home, they just didn’t hit like this one. Definitely my go to spot now
A first for African, a first for African Vegan food.
I asked the owner’s recommendation and received a plate with black bean porridge, fried plantains, Jollof Rice and had a Zobo drink. Presentation echoed the images online. The spinach was seasoned perfectly with a kiss of heat. The rest is probably what you would expect from African cuisine.
I will return to try the other Vegan options.
