The service will melt your heart before the food melts in your mouth. I drove out here from downtown for lunch. I'm not from the area, but this looked like an opportunity that I couldn't miss, and I am glad I didn't. Thank you for sharing your skills and passion for excellent Afghan food with the world.
This was my first time trying Afghan food, and I was blown away by the flavors and textures of the beef mantu! The side of fries was a bit small and could’ve used more salt but still hit the spot when dipped in the white sauce. The guys working were also super friendly and welcoming. Thank you for bringing this food to Austin and I will definitely be back to try the other entrees!
Our dining experience at Mealma was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. We ordered the chicken chapli kabab, qubali pulav, combo wrap, and chicken dumplings, and each dish was an absolute delight.
