I started coming here 30+ years ago. I haven't been in years since I live pretty far away now, but planned a lunch there with old friends. It's a good as ever. The catfish is fresh and plentiful and the hush puppies are awesome. Wish they had one in Cedar Park area.

Consistent quality and service. Been going here for years. Took the work crew and everyone loves it.
I've eaten here since the beginning. Interestingly, there used to be a BBQ restaurant in that location that my Mom took us as kids. There were outdoor speakers mounted on each of the posts on the porch. They played the sounds of moo-ing cattle. The first time I went to Springhill, it looked familiar but didn't know why. As I walked in, I saw the speakers, then it made sense. Great catfish, great people and good times

I went here today, and all I can really say about it was that it was ok. The service was great, no complaints there. However, the food was a bit hit and miss.
The mains were good, but the sides were not. All the sides, except for the hushpuppies, seemed like they were just canned food and powdered mashed potatoes put on the plate. No real flavor or anything to really make them stand out from standard cafeteria food.
One other thing, basically all the plates and cups were styrofoam. Is their dishwasher not working, or do they just really like wasting all those plates and cups?
