Server was amazing and made us feel welcomed as first timers/virgins. My husband order a desert that wasn't that appeasing and the server offered to replace it if he didn't like it at no cost or hassle. The desert presentation was phenomenal the ambience was great.

My wife and I decided to have a date night at Better Than Sex in Downtown Plano, and it was absolutely lovely.

The ambiance is very romantic and sexy, with each booth feeling extremely private. It's worth noting that there are plenty of tasteful sexy photos around, so leave the kids and any extremely prudish friends at home. Or bring 'em if that's your thing, who am I to judge?

Reservations are available, but even on a Friday evening we had no issues getting a table.

The menu is full of dirty puns and double entendres, which I absolutely love. Our server took time to explain some of the menu options and make recommendations. Everything is on a tablet, but unlike the kiosks at Olive Garden these were easy to use and didn't feel obtrusive at all. In fact, they had some questions to spark conversation, so once you had ordered, the tablet could provide an ice breaker if you wanted.

We tried the tickle my carrot, and it was divine. Drinks were great too, but keep in mind that pretty much everything is sweet.

I tried the Slip Inside and loved it. My wife had Sex Appeal (she always does) - wine with a sweet rim on the glass - and enjoyed.

Overall, Better Than Sex is a must-try destination for drinks and desert in Downtown Plano. Definitely recommend!

Desserts and drinks very good. Loved the atmosphere. Lady at front door personable. Only reason for the 4 rating is due to server. Adrian. Very dry personality and seemed to be just going through the motions, and very mechanical. I'm sure he's super nice but just didn't seem to enjoy his job. Definitely impacted our evening.

This is my second time going and the experience never fails, from the waiters to the food and the mood it’s definitely worth trying, but be prepared because you’ll want to go back the very next day ❤️ Whoever is the chef here, deserves a chefs kiss!!

Very unique atmosphere. Our waiter was funny and entertaining when made for a great experience and service. The food was delicious and ALL DESERT THEMED including the drinks
