California Pizza Kitchen at Willow Bend

My husband and I have been to a few different CPKs, and we have always had really good food and service, but this one was the worst. The food was pretty good. My husband had the jambalaya linguine. I had the new shaking beef...it was ok. The flavor was good, but the beef was fatty and mostly unchewable. The server was the real problem. My husband ordered his food without shrimp and with extra chicken instead. The server brought him jambalaya that was ONLY shrimp and no chicken. We had to wait for a new plate. The server just did not pay attention nor did he know what we were saying. The dessert...my husband had the red velvet and I had the butter cake flight....was just average to below average. The whole experience was just ok...nothing to write home about, not anything we will return to.

The truth is that I'm a big fan of pizzas. And this place has some incredible pizzas! And if you like Moscow mules? This is an excellent place to have them!

The food is always great and the only reason we keep coming back. There was 3 managers but they need to step it up. We had a table and waited 15 minutes and no one came. I got up and sat at the bar instead with my family, where Tiffany took care of us she put in our food and brought our drinks and never came back. It was busy, the managers stood behind the bar instead of helping the floor. As someone who was a server I am extremely disappointed in management. The only help that was offered to servers was verbally . There was food to be ran, tables that needed cleaning and managers stood behind the bar… Friendly advice to managers is to help the servers to help the guest (with waters to tables at the very least) Terrell ended up getting us together but there’s also room for improvement

I was not happy . Tiffany was manager said wait 30 min but we waited 1.25 hour due to understaff but somehow three parties who came after us were seated before us. Manager said she had to wash the dishes due to understaff . Not happy at all!

Great experience! I went here this past Mother’s Day and had a good time with my kids. Came her again today and Tiffany the manager was very accommodating and kind! She sat us at the table and checked on us constantly. She was very pleasant and made us feel very welcomed. We had the pepperoni pizza, Cobb salad, egg rolls and the warm butter cake. The food and service was great. My 4 kids enjoyed the atmosphere.

Kid-friendliness: They were super nice to my kids, brought us three high chairs, gave them crayons and coloring books. Will definitely bring my kids back. We will become regulars.

Really good place, service and food. Mocktails are good, especially the strawberry mango cooler. A lot of vegetarian options are available.

Definitely worth going here for a nice dinner date or family outting. There's only two in DFW. The Nashville Hot Pizza was really yummy

Place has changed big time!!! They got new employees who are willing to go above and beyond for you! Glad this place is slowly improving.

I used to like CPK but from my last visit it's apparent everything from food and service has gone downhill. Visited this location for dinner on a Saturday around 6. The restaurant was kind of empty. The girl brought out the bread and oil dip and I noticed there was hair in it. She brought out another one and I had to inspect to make sure it was good. I ordered a meal for my kid (I had to repeat a few times what I wanted) and the shrimp dynamite for me to start with. The shrimp took a long time. I'm pretty sure she forgot about it because when I did get it the food was not warm. I had a reward on my account for a free entree but the max was $18.. well most of their entrees for dinner are over that unless you want pasta with no meat option. Only decent option was to get a pizza. I asked if I could just pay the difference for another entree but she said no had to be $18 or under so I got a pizza to go. The pizza was taking a while. The girl ended up coming to tell me there was a large order placed they were working on and wasn't sure how long it would take for mine. Not really an acceptable thing to tell someone dining in after the order was already placed. Then she proceeded to to tell me how they are under staffed and that they do have a sign out front how they are hiring. Her comment was unnecessary and she was unprofessional. Them hiring had nothing to do with my dining experience. The whole experience was probably the worst I've had at CPK.
