My husband and I have four kids and we have visited many Dickeys locations in the past and they have always been welcoming. Last night, we decided to go to this location in Plano because we had taken our kids out to an arcade nearby. We pulled into the parking lot at 8:25. It took us about 5 minutes to get off the car. Our youngest children are a toddler and a baby. All the while I could see the employees watching us from inside the building. Mind you, when we pulled in, the cook was outside on the phone and went inside as soon as we pulled up. As soon as we made it inside, the gentlemen behind the counter said, “hello guys, this order is to go right?” I was very shocked and said, no, it’s not. He said, kitchen closes in 20 min. I was like.. wow, okay. And my husband looked at me and said, what do you want to do? I said, well, let’s go somewhere else. It was one of the rudest experiences I’ve ever had at any establishment. He didn’t say, hi guys, how’s your night? No, hi, it’s to go right? So I put my baby in the car and left the kids with my husband while I walked back in to get his name and his managers name, he claimed he was the manager and also said, his name was Juan and wouldn’t give me his last name. Very very rude. He said his last name was Juan, (I’m the only Juan) he thought it was so funny to be so rude to us. He did not take it seriously at all. Poor customer service. They had no other customers at the time also. We could’ve eaten and left quickly. So so so so rude.

I live out of town, Harold was so friendly over the phone. It was a simple order, but he delivered my sister food to her hospital room. He was very friendly and incredibly thoughtful.

The food is delicious. The service not so much. Two times I was charged wrong. I had a coupon for $19.99 for a full rack of ribs. Great price. I was charged $20.99 plus tax. When I pointed it out. I was told first that he had to ring it up like that. I told him he owed me $1.00 plus tax. He got very huffy and said it would come out of his pocket (jeez. Wt?) I told him ‘I don’t care- my coupon said $19.99 so he owed me. He finally opened the register and handed me $1. No tax. Yes, I know it was only .08 but by now, I’m pissed. He had a very bad attitude. He tried to argue he didn’t owe me tax but finally opened the register again and gave it to me.
Wow, he was so condescending and rude. When I got home I checked my last two receipts. One was half rack at $17.99. It was rang up correctly.
The first was several weeks before and another $19.99 coupon. I wa charged a drink and a 3 meat plate minus a pos discount. The total was about right? So I didn’t even notice at the time
This whole exchange was witnessed by an Uber driver. When I left she said to me (in the parking lot) ‘wow. That was crazy- I can’t believe he did that’
Seriously, even though the food was good I don’t believe I’ll go back to Dickeys for a long time. At least not to the Coit/plano location
Ambiance - not great, totally turned off by the whole attitude and overcharging

I ordered online and it was ready when I arrived. I ordered the Ranch Boss Sandwich Combo and in addition to another side a small Cesar salad. I liked the crispy chicken combo with brisket along with adding spicy BBQ sauce to it.

The food , was okay .. brisket wasn’t as juicy as I’d liked .. the sausage was better got the jalapeño kielbasa, Mac and cheese was a 2.5 at best out of 5 salt and pepper helped , it was a little runny , and the one the that took the cake was the super hard Texas toast , Gf was super bummer about that one lol , overall maybe if you get it fresh you might have a better experience?

This is the Dickies BBQ location we frequent. While the BBQ and chicken are good, we were appalled today at the price they charged for a baked potato - $11. Outrageous! Was more than my beef sandwich! Also, if you’re not going to repair or replace the ice cream machine, take it out. No wonder the place was empty.

The food was expensive and it didn't even taste good. When you pay nearly 50 dollars for 2 meals and a fry for your child you expect it to at least taste good. The small drinks were nearly 3 dollars a piece.
