On a whim, my husband and I decided to try Eddie’s Diner in Plano. We sat the bar to eat since it was just the two of us and met the owner,Lydia, and found out that they are opening a new branch in Wylie soon. Ironically, we live just down the street off Parker Road and knew exactly where they were talking about. We met Tommy, the new manager at the Wylie location and are so excited for them to open next week! Incredible food, incredible people… a winning combination for Wylie! We can’t wait to be frequent visitors. I highly recommend you order the chicken coop and taste their chicken fried chicken and incredible biscuits. My husband explored their veggie omelette and pancakes and loved all of it as well! Do yourself a favor and visit Eddies Diner as soon as possible! You won’t regret it!!

If you have young kids be warned there’s no changing table in the restroom. I had to change my baby in the back of my car…in the rain. We were definitely not the only people here with young kids. Food was good, service was good, maybe a touch slow but friendly. I’m not itching to come back because there’s nowhere to change my baby.

I don't go to Plano often, however if I'm there and it's breakfast or lunch time, Eddie's is at the top of my list. The portions are very large, especially with their skillets. They're really large enough for two.The chicken fried skillet is hard to miss with.

This is a must have for breakfast, brunch or lunch. First timers here in Plano and stopped in for breakfast. The atmosphere is very down home and family vibes and the staff and management were friendly and inviting. Like having a meal at moms or grandmas house. We tried the country fried steak with eggs and hash browns it comes with a bread side. You get a choice of toast, biscuits or a pancake. I got the biscuits. Big portion and every bite was better than the previous bite. The potatoes were PERFECT!! My wife got one of the skillets with sausage, ham and bacon topped with white country gravy. It was delicious!! I think we found our new weekend breakfast spot. Absolutely loved that we found Eddie’s. 10/10 highly recommend

Simply delightful. I wanted to venture out and taste classical american all day brunch , and boy , wasnt disappointed. Good people , good vibes , good food . NB : forget your calory calculations at home ;) Had fired chicken fillet & belgian waffles combo and didnt have to eat anything more until next day :)
I love visiting this diner on Fridays when am off work. Great atmosphere. Been going there for about two years now after a classmate invited me over. I enjoy the samplers. The servers are great, homely, friendly and patient. I really like Tommy’s service, calmness and very kind. There is also a pretty lady who just joined and has a great smile. I watched her be so kind and happily serve an Islamic family with no judgements. Absolutely a safe place to be.
