We did brunch here on Sunday. Arrived at 11AM and were finally sat about 11:35. I picked Eddies because it was the top rated breakfast place in Plano and supposedly has amazing corned beef hash (husbands favorite.) After we sat down, we realized we had been here before (again, because of the good reviews and that everyone loved the corned beef hash.) Maybe the last time (several years ago) our bad experience was a fluke because this place has 4.7 ⭐️ !!
So, our waitress was awesome and our food was delivered promptly. Husband’s corned beef hash was out of a can/mush (Hormel?) and the hashbrowns were completely unseasoned all over and uncooked in the middle. I ordered a turkey club and like someone else said, they flatten/smash their croissant to press it like a panini (weird.) The turkey tasted like it came from a package next door (Walmart) but the fries were good. Besides the awesome waitress/service, I seriously do not understand the high score or extremely long wait.

Family and I went to Eddie’s Dinner on a Saturday morning and it was absolutely delightful! We were a group of 6 and were seated in about 15 minutes. Service was fast and very pleasant and every single dish was enjoyed to the max. Big portions and overall beautifully executed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow!! First time here and our breakfast was delicious! The bacon tastes so good, eggs cooked to perfection. I don’t know how they make their hash browns but they were amazing! Pancakes had the perfect vanilla flavor. We will definitely be back. Service was excellent and the owner came by several times to refill coffee and make sure all was good! Highly recommend!!

We're have been going here for years. I love that some of the staff has been there as long as we've been visiting. The staff is always friendly and the food always delicious.
My family and I freaking love this place. We’ve tried the Smokin’ Bennie, Florentine Bennie, garden skillet, pancakes and omelets, and everything has been delicious. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive, making sure we have everything we need. It’s a classic, homegrown diner—the kind of place you can’t help but keep coming back to. 🥞☕️
