Great experience! We made a reservation for high tea. The tea and food were excellent. They were training a server that day and he also did well. It's such a great place for pictures; but you pay for it at about $50 per person, before tip. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they asked to move my reservation up an hour, because they had an event that night. They also had our reservation for only 3, when we reserved for 4, and so they had to prepare once we got there. Looking at other reviews, this isn't the first time, and in my opinion, that's just not good business.
Breakfast/brunch dishes were delicious. Wanted to compare the Escargot from the ones we had in France. Flavorful but the snell itself was not the same. Would definitely go back for breakfast / brunch
Parking: Park in the parking garage and walk over to the boardwalk. Plenty of parking
I don’t understand any of the negative reviews. My mother in law hosted a baby shower for me and my husband here… planning it with the managers was so easy communication was great. We ordered a cake with the bakery as well it was so tasty and beautifully decorated. The service was great fast paced (party of 17) the food and drinks were absolutely delicious and fresh! I would definitely come back on an ordinary day! Beautiful restaurant, great environment, great food! Thank you James
A restaurant in a prime area with very good ambience and all. But the positive seem to stop there. This is my first visit to a restaurant with French Cuisine, so take my feedback from that point of view.Very few vegetarian and almost no vegan options. Food is bland, served cold and less warm, not very eye pleasing or have sensory aspect to it. Unsure, if that's what French folks opt for but was surprisingly disappointed. We are a group of dozen people here to celebrate Father's Day. The drinks are so poorly made, not even one person did bottoms up and no one ordered a second drink. The pineapple and cranberry juices felt like bottled ones from Kroger, nothing against Kroger though. The dishes are very bland, and small (may be except for omlette) ended up ordering two different dishes each. The service was slow, not kid friendly, barely accountable and didn't help the experience.
Love this place! Met a friend for lunch and it was so delightful! It was not crowded at all at 12:00 on a weekday. Great place to meet girlfriends for lunch or host a shower. I am looking forward to coming back to the high tea but definitely will be back.
A warning…eat before you go because you will definitely be hungry afterward and will need to order extra food. The charge of $45 pp plus alcohol seemed excessive based on the tiny portions served. You might also check your bill as a service charge of 20% is already included which was not pointed out by our server so I double tipped. There were 3 of us and my bill was $223 before my extra tip. While the room reserved for High Tea is lovely, we were annoyed by a large number of fruit flies constantly circling the food. The manager did promise to reimburse me for the additional tip but the damage is done. High Tea was a disappointing experience and one I will not be repeating.
I highly recommend Edith's for a large event. I hosted my daughter's baby shower at Edith's for 60 guests. All of the guests enjoyed the ambiance and food, and remarked that it was a great and beautiful space for a shower (we had the "yellow room" and part of the outdoor patio). The shower was a success because the management worked with us to coordinate logistics and aesthetics, and because of the great service of the wait staff. We also ordered a cake from Edith's which was delicious and beautifully matched our look and theme. Because there were a number of other showers and events going on at the same time we had some concern things might get lost in the shuffle, but the service was consistently great and accommodating. I am incredibly happy we chose Edith's for our special event - many of our guests commented on the great baby shower. Thank you, Edith's French Bistro!
This is a wonderful restaurant. Great atmosphere and yummy food. The cocktails are perfect. We sat on the patio it was awesome. We are going back for Mother’s Day. They also have high tea experiences. Which I can’t wait to go try soon. The French Melt was perfect!!
Good food and ambience - the pastrami sandwich was good and so was the escargot. Nice salads and lavender eclair but the strawberry cream puff wasn't so good. Overall, cute place with tasty food.
I love the atmosphere and food here. French onion soup, french dip, and sandwiches were all good. It was my second time and it was very good. My server was very nice, too.

Don’t go you will be disappointed.
I took my family of 11 people for a Mother's Day brunch expecting to have a lovely brunch with my family but instead it was a nightmare. It took over 1 1/2 hours just to get some of the food to the table then another half an hour before the rest of my family received their food, our empty glasses sat for an hour with no attention from wait staff for refills. Half the meals came out cold, my mother was served a meal that she didn't even order. All during this horrible experience everyone around us is getting their meals in a timely manner they have eaten and have already left before we are served. As we continue to sit unattended to I finally ask for a manager. Management was smug and unapologetic and had the gall to say that we were the only table that complained all day. Not quite to sure what that has to do with us then it was their lack of service and quality. One of my guests didn't even eat at all because when they said they were going to remake her food and they brought back the same plate the same food reheated. Then I get a bill of almost $500 not even offering compensation for how poorly the service and food was and then add a forced tip of $70 was added on top of it 3 hours later we finally leave. I was so embarrassed in front of my family of how bad it all was and handled. I do not recommend this restaurant and I definitely will not go back.
We had the most wonderful high tea experience for my daughter’s birthday celebration this week. The atmosphere, savory sandwiches, delicious sweets, bubbly bar, favors, and tasty teas as well as the service for 15 adults were all excellent. Thank you for a special afternoon.
My third, but last visit!!! I called and made a reservation for 6 people. When we arrived, they sat us in the back of the restaurant! It was almost like we were not in the restaurant, but in the place where they stack their chairs and tables (it was super disrespectful). We asked the server to change our table, and she explained that they had 2 big events, and they didn’t have any other available table. One of my friends went and found us an available table, so the server finally switched us! She was not helpful at all. She kept forgetting forks, drinks, etc. In the end, we had to ask her to fix our checks many times because she kept messing up. Since they automatically charge 20% of gratuity for groups of 6, the servers don’t care about being helpful and nice. We paid around $50-$65 per person for brunch and ended up hating that place because of how bad was our experience. When someone calls to make a reservation, let them know that you have events going on and you can’t provide good service. Nobody deserves to sit in the back of the restaurant or get their food cold, etc. Not going back for sure!
Went here for my sister’s birthday for afternoon tea with a group of girls. It is the perfect place for groups/celebrations! There were other birthdays and bridal showers going on the same day. The decor is beautiful and the presentation of the high tea is super cute. We all had a great time.
