i’ve been to all hot/spicy chicken restaurants and this one by far is the BEST (yes better than dave’s) . the food is so flavorful and tasty! my favorite is the rice platter! i’m obsessed with it and always crave it

Customer service is excellent. One of the best that I have visited. Extremely patient. However the food is missing depth of flavor. The guy sits and eats at serving/ food prepping station. Very unsanitary. I was very disgusted by this sight. Why not eat at the normal location? I thought about taking a photo and filing health department report. Cashier was very polite. Fries were cold. I live in Tennessee for a few years so I really miss the authentic hot chicken. Also, the banana pudding is more like box pudding. It is not traditional African American custard banana pudding with double broiler and meringue that is normally in black homes. They make it like white Americans not black Americans. If you know the food is so different the more westward you go it becomes less authentic. I don't even think the black people here no how to cook traditional black food so I can't completely fault them.

To say I eat here often is an understatement, it is literally my go to chicken spot. They never disappoint whether I come in and eat or order off of DoorDash. Don’t question if this is your choice of food to eat tonight cause the answer should already be yes!

I was pretty impressed! Tried their leg quarter, chicken sandwich and Log Fire! It was delicious. Log fire is served as a bed of fries topped with coleslaw, chicken and thier special sauce! Very impressive.
