We asked the waiter if they served eggplant and if we could add in pork to the dish. The waiter waved his hand saying no English and walked to the kitchen. We thought he was getting help but Then later asked us what we wanted to drink! After feeling like asking him a question bothered him. We decided to

Dishes always come out fast, and the portions are always generous for the price. It's a place in regular rotation. Pea sprouts with garlic are always a must-have.

This is a "real" Chinese restaurant complete with hand written notices taped to the walls written in Chinese, Chinese people speaking Chinese enjoying and cooking the food. They serve both Mandarin and Cantonese dishes.I've been to the Fish House 3 times:Twice I ate the Crispy Rice/Fish with rice. A delicious Cantonese style meal that will stuff two hungry people and get you out the door for $20 including gratuity. Delicious, delicious, delicious!Third meal was the House Special Duck and Egg Plant with Brown Sauce. The House Special Duck (I choose "extra spicy") was cooked with liberal szechuan peppercorns and salt to give that heat and mouth numbing experience of Mandarin style cooking. This is a great dish to enjoy with beer! The Egg Plant with Brown Sauce would properly be called "Egg Plant with Black Mushrooms" - and was as good as I ever enjoyed. Fish House cooks both Cantonese and Mandarin foods perfectly as far as my 3 trips can verify. The portions are generous, the food is delicious and the cost is most reasonable.

I have been a customer for many years. The most recent time I ordered takeout, I was inexplicably choked to death by the proprietress. I will not patronize it again. Ordering a dish is like owing the boss something. It's really low-spirited to vent your anger on guests when you're in a bad mood. Things are getting more and more expensiveIt's getting worse.

If you're craving for authentic spicy Chinese cuisines, this is the right place. The service is non-existent and the ambiance is mediocre, but the food is great. I think one of the highlight of the restaurant was their cold dishes, as they have a great variety of tasty cold dishes that are very good. The lamb with pepper and cilantro dish we ordered was very flavorful, spicy and hits the right spots for me. I also enjoyed the boiled spicy beef very much. Overall, if you're able to ignore the lack of service, this is a great restaurant for some spicy Chinese food.

Mediocre food, horribly service, extremely rude owner that has anger control issues and yells at customers for no reason. Stay AWAY.

No where near the authentic taste.Bad attitude. Not clean.
Nice restaurant serving some good authentic fish item. Whenever In this market place my husband make sure to get boiled fish soup that is something his favourite. Has a very homely taste which is difficult to find in other Chinese restaurant. Once we got fried fist and taste was great with good portion size. As fish place you will find the place to be lil expensive but it’s completely worth for what you get.

First of all, the service was terrible. The waitress had a horrible attitude. In addition, as a Fish House, they were OUT of fish??!!? What’s making it worth, they were using bacon for traditional Hunan fried pork, which is unacceptable as the dish came out to be super salty and oily. The Mapo Tofu was at least decent. Definitely won’t come back again!

Ordered mixed seafood with tofu, I’ve had it in China before and thinking it was gonna be the same kind. Little did I know I was gonna get a dish with literally no seafood and bunch of raw, cold tofu! And the broccoli in the dish looked like it was bunch of waste bits that’s more suitable to be in the trash than in the dish. There’s only a bunch of carrots, some chicken, bamboo shoot slices, and broccoli skins. I used to come here a lot but the quality just went downhill since two years ago. I will not be coming back to this place unless they make some improvements.
