Disappointing Food, Service, and Atmosphere
I recently visited Hello India and ordered the stuffed mirchi and Mysore bonda. Unfortunately, both items were completely awful and lacked quality. It feels like the establishment is focusing entirely on price increases rather than maintaining basic food standards.The customer service and billing process were equally disappointing. After deciding to cancel the order due to the poor food quality, the staff was completely untrained on how to handle the situation. They could not properly reconcile what I had already paid versus the amount that needed to be returned to me.Furthermore, the atmosphere of the restaurant has drastically declined. There were people loitering and squandering right outside the entrance, which completely ruins the aesthetic and creates a very unwelcoming environment.Management needs to prioritize staff training, quality control prior to serving food, and the overall environment of the restaurant. I cannot recommend this place to others.

Very disappointing experience at Hello India. We placed a takeout order in person and were initially told that some of the food was not available and that we would need to wait a few minutes. However, the wait time kept getting extended repeatedly without any clear communication or accurate estimate of when the order would be ready.

The restaurant itself did not appear clean or well-maintained. What was most concerning was what we witnessed while waiting: a customer returned an incorrect snack order, and instead of discarding it, an employee simply placed the food back on the serving tray. This raised serious concerns about food handling practices and hygiene standards.

Another issue was that several people were smoking right near the entrance doors. Having to walk through cigarette smoke while entering and waiting outside was very uncomfortable and created an unpleasant first impression of the establishment.

Between the poor communication, extended wait times, lack of cleanliness, smoking near the entrance, and questionable food safety practices, this was an experience I would not recommend. Management needs to pay much closer attention to customer service, cleanliness, and proper food handling procedures.

I ordered the Masala Vada, Potato Samosa, and chai today. The samosas were, without question, the worst I’ve had. They were severely undercooked and should never have been served in that condition.

I was willing to let it go, but I decided to provide feedback in the hope that the staff would care enough to address the issue. I approached the lady serving the food and explained the problem. Her response was complete indifference. No apology, no concern, no attempt to understand the issue, and no effort to make things right.

I wasn’t asking for a refund or a replacement. Basic customer service starts with acknowledging a customer’s concern and offering a simple apology. Instead, I was met with a blank stare and a complete lack of professionalism.

The food quality was disappointing, but the customer service was even worse. If a business doesn’t care about customer feedback, it’s hard to see why customers should support it.

I would have given 0 stars if that were an option.

We ordered catering for our wedding event, Bhanu was cordial in explaining various options and flavor profiles available. He was very knowledgeable and informative of all menu items . The service was exceptional, they delivered multiple times to ensure the freshness of the food ordered . They communicated every step of the way, suggestions regarding quantity and tastes to fit our needs were exceptionally executed . Thanks to Bhanu for making the catering for our events run smoothly, without any glitches. And special thanks to Vijay.

Yesterday order through Uber Eats . Mutton biryani tasted excellent!!!.Sufficient quantity for price and it was tasty and yummy !!! Every part of spices in biryani was cooked in right and had perfect enjoyment!!!!

I bought a family pack of chicken dum biryani. I found a piece of chicken in that whole pack. When I called them, one person responded and she ask us to come again to the restaurant to get the remaining pieces of chicken. I felt really insulted and they didn't respond in a correct manner. May be, it is busy place in Plano, but I didn't get their food for free. Family pack biryani is a scam!!!

The place has become insanely ridiculous - the quality goes down by the day while price is going through the roof

The owners are smart - chai is cheap but when you stop here and pick snacks prepare to be shocked...a Punugulo is 8 bucks and Samosa $2 .. so a chai stop for two will turn into a $25 affair very quickly
