When we were first checking out Kooksoo online the combo's appeared to be pricey. What wasn't clear was that they're intended to serve two people which was explained when we arrived. Each combo comes with a rice dish and a noodle dish, think family style dining. I guess it's possible for one person to eat a combo, I can't imagine finishing one by myself.

I love the noodles and broth here! Personally, the beef kooksoo and the stir fried beef noodles are my favorites. The beef kooksoo is SO rich and flavorful, a really good mix of savory and sweet. The stir fried beef noodles are sort of like a pasta with a kind of strong beef flavor. But both of these dishes may be considered sweet to people who do not like sweet dishes, so if you are one of those people, I recommend the Jjampong!
