Love & War in Texas Reviews
I have been here a few times for lunch food was always great and service was quick and friendly. I went last night to see a band. Man all I can say is wow. The outdoor band area is a great music venue. The band was awesome, the crowd had great energy. Was worried the service would be slow out there but they had plenty of help out there and everything was great.
Outdoor area is open air but covered. They had plenty of fans and even heaters when it is cold.

Had the best waitress with Jane! Seriously the best everrrr!!! So much personality and cannot say enough! Food was great too.
The service was amazing. No doubt about it. The place looks out dated and needs a tune up but it was clean. I'm use to ribs and chicken being smoked and having flavor within the meat. The ribs and chicken from my order basically just had all the seasoning on top and bbq'd. It's not REAL texas ribs, chicken and steak. It didn't taste horrible....I would just expect more for the $ paid. $35 for a steak dinner plate and $23 for the ribs/chicken. Overall, it's a decent place. I can't...read full review

Love & War in Texas offers delicious food in large portions at an affordable price. The restaurant features a laid-back, country vibe with a live band, making it a popular spot for gatherings with friends. The staff is friendly, and the outdoor area is a great space for music and socializing. The outdoor band area is an open-air but covered space, equipped with plenty of fans and heaters to keep guests comfortable in any weather. The menu includes excellent appetizers like fried pickles, queso & chips, and cornbread, along with well-cooked steaks and ribs. The nachos are huge, and the atmosphere is relaxed with good eats and live music. The place also offers specialties such as the wild boar, chicken fried steak, and margaritas during happy hour, which are strong and only $5. The chicken fried bacon is juicy and flavorful, and the ranch steak and shrimp are cooked perfectly. The service is friendly, with attentive staff who handle multiple roles, and the live music adds a fun vibe without being too loud. Though parking can sometimes be limited, nearby options are available, and the overall experience is worth it. The owner and staff work hard to make guests feel welcome, creating a lively environment for all.
