It was so bad it was bland and unseasoned not worth 10 dollars even the crab Rangoons were burdened and the drink that I got which was Diet Coke tasted and smelled like sewer water

I ordered orange chicken and egg drop soup for pickup. There were no utensils and no sauce whatsoever. The chicken was dry but the rice was cooked well and the egg drop soup was good. Won't try my luck ?

It wasn’t the worst Chinese food I’ve had. But it definitely wasn’t the best. The main complaint that I had with the food just needed more seasoning or flavors.

Overpriced, asked for sauce and they would only give one packet as if soy costs thousands and their food is loaded with msg. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst migraine headache ever from the msg.

The food tasted good. But it was a pathetically small amount. I wish I took a picture. They used to fill up the carryout styrofoam container. Today it was only half full. It will be a long time if ever before I go back. Very disappointing.

Been goong here 25 plus years. I guess they changed management, the new guy is stingy like hell. Ordered 50$ of stuff wont even give me 2 chilli sauces which cost .10 cents . So disheartened. Also hardly any meat in chicken lomein. Never going back again. I informed all the family and friends who were loyal to this place. There are better food and better service down the road.

Really wanted to give this place more stars because the food tasted good but there were egg shell pieces in my fried rice. So, heada up, be more careful when preparing food and watch out if you're eating their fried rice.

We've been coming here for many, many, many years. Although the "ambiance" isn't too great, who cares? I don't go to a restaurant for the decorations or how it looks, but for the excellence in food. The food had ALWAYS BEEN FABULOUS & TOP NOTCH. NOTHING compares to them, and I know Chinese food. A native NY person, I've been in TX since 1978, and hands down, Mei Mei is superb. Always is. Always has been. We'll continue going until they close the doors, which is hopefully never!! Love this place, love it, love it. Also has the best, best, best egg rolls outside of NY!!!

I went to Mei Mei Tried to call in my order three times so I walked in and ordered Fried rice, lo mein, sesame chicken, egg foo youngAnd when I got home all the food looked the same had no taste and sesame chicken was old and hard. The egg foo young had no taste and neither did the lo mein and combination fried rice. A bunch of brown sauce I spent $66 and if I didn’t live so far away, I go and throw it back in their face so they could see how unhappy we wereAnd they had four stars don’t waste your money trust me they knew they were giving me this garbage

We had a surprise family visit and needed to feed 6 adults with different palets. I googled 4 star and above chinees restaurants in my area, and Mei Mei didn't disappoint!

The egg rolls were large, packed full, not greacy. Veggie lo mein was fresh and not salty-approved by my very picky eater mother-in-law. Gen TSO and Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, and fried rice were spot on (IMHO). The biggest surprise was our first time trying the Singapore noodles, delicious and instantly a favorite of everyone!

The restaurant is dated in and outside. The checkout area is messy, and supplies are stored in the back booth. Interaction with staff was fine, just not personable ( being real). However, I will be back, not judging a book by its cover, so to speak!

I am from Los Angeles and have been here for 5 years. I’ve been searching for Chinese food in Plano and Frisco and it’s always subpar. I discovered this place because they have 4.8 rating on Grubhub. And omfg, it tastes the same as LA Chinese food. This food is perfect! And I mean perfect. It took me back home eating it.

Mei Mei Chinese: where the food is very good, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere is...well, normal! The real stars of the show here are the Crab Rangoon and the egg rolls – they make me want to do a happy dance right in the middle of the restaurant! If you're in the mood for top-notch Chinese cuisine and a good time, this place is definitely worth checking out.
